I dont think ive seen a case where protection analysis is wrong about what generates spall or not before
ive been trying to look out for it in game but most of the time habitually skip the shot replays

thats mostly because gaijin doesnt understand the abrams hydraulic system and made a non pressurized section of a gated hydraulic system (the hydraulic tank they labeled as a pump) vital to the turret drives and ignored the backup pump, residual pressure in the lines and manual backup turret drives

And its high pressure ammunition. Instead it shots DM53 from 1998, which isn’t even in service anymore. DM53 and Leopard 2A7 actually never ever met irl. Must be a time tunnel.
What we have ingame is in fact no Leopard 2A7. It misses its optimized gearbox, its missing almost 50% of its armor efficiency and its missing its ammunition.
And yet it dominates top tier 🤷🏻♂️

I do not think that the Turret Basket change itself was a bad thing, it was the fact it was cherry picked to be for specific vehicles. I think that it was for this reason, that there was such an outrage over the change. What should have happened, is that Gaijin should have added turret baskets to all nations (yes even t-series) at once so everyone will have the same treatment and so no one person with loyalty to a nation (Usa mains, russian mains and german mains) can say “insert nation bias” when everyone got the change.
