Source?
but they did.
Wdym, it literally is written that it can’t
“up to 12 AMRAAMs” means it can’t carry more
Unless the meaning magically changed when I wasn’t aware of it
up to 12 means it was tested with a max of 12
yes because it can carry better are more missiles
So prove it can carry more
So far, you haven’t provided any proof
Yeah I saw your screenshot after I made the post.
prove it can only carry 12
just quit bro it’s a new production jet

using the existing F-15 production lines
it isnt a new jet, it is an upgrade to an already existing jet
MiGoon has at least provided some sources to back his claims, yet you have yet to come up with anything.
He said that it can carry max 12 and backed it up with a source. It’s up to you to counter that claim with sources, it’s not up to him to counter his own point.
best thing is that even with the amber racks you wouldnt get more than 20
so where are the extra missiles coming from
This is the closest I could find, it’s an EX with MRML.
It’s owned by Boeing, not the USAF, but it’s still an EX with more than 12 missiles.
Still not 22 tho.
I couldn’t find this image reverse image searching, aside from on the Forums, but i did find another image, which is older. Earliest mentions are ~2019
I don’t know if these are mockups, but it does show that MRML was at least considered.
and that is what we would get in WT regardless of those images, bc otherwise there wouldnt really be an incentive to grind the F-15EX over teh F-15C GE
I mean, the Better engines would make a difference.
I still prefer the 15E to the GE simple bc it’s faster.
Plus MAWs and a better radar, though, For War Thunder the main thing is gimbal, and idk how much Gimbal the EX adds over the GE.
Even if the max was 12 missiles, the engine power on the F-15E’s airframe alone would make it incredibly powerful (F-15C GE is already 14.7 material). Easily one of the top 3 14.7s is what it’ll end up being.
If it gets the F-15E’s CAS load out… It’ll be a very, very good plane
Not to mention 12 Fox-3’s is already a LOT.
We genuinely do not need more
