Whilst I agree that Britain has basically no top tier SPAA and not getting one was stupid. We didnt make the IRIS-T. That was Germany.
Britain developed the ASRAAM and made that into the SAM missile called the “CAMM”. Now Germany was co-developing the ASRAAM but decided they wanted something different and they may have used some of that research for the IRIS-T. But they are fundementally different missiles
So we should get this. The Skysabre that fires CAMM, CAMM-ER and CAMM-MR.
CAMM-ER would match the range of IRIS-T SLM and is also used by Italy. So it makes the perfect addition
Joke reply - We got a new SPAA on the last update. “Tracked Rapier”, with some other indian SPAA from the soviets. we got quite a lots of SPAA, so we will not going to have new one in this update.
Real reply - We are British, and Gaijin hates us. That is why.
In all seriousness though. I do reckon they went “well Britain recently got the Stormer AD, Tracked Rapier, OSA, and Strela. Lets not add a new SPAA for a while as people are getting bored of all these new SPAA for a single tree”
and I fear it might be a while till we get… anything…
