I mean I agree with all of this, but why are you arguing it to me? It’s almost been a year since I made a comment about the then current state of the 2S25M, and I never once in this thread said how I felt about the Merkava Mk.2s, other then any inference that can be drawn from my first comment in this thread saying it must suffer bc it’s Israeli.
As of now a lot has changed, but the Merkava Mk.2s have not. That’s a problem. The Mk.2D needs in armor values fixed, the M426 (DM63 105mm) APFSDS round, and it’ll be good to go. Ofc I’d kill for a 5s reload buff, but then gaijin might put it even higher than it already is. My comment about a vehicle being good at 10.0 if you go back and read related to what I thought was the 2S25M being discussed, not the Merkava Mk.2D that was 9.7 then.

I actually meant to have this as a completely separate comment and did not mean to reply to your post. Wasn’t paying attention tbh.
My bad on that.

It’s easy to see that something is very wrong when until recently the three Merkava 2 (the event one too) had the same Br. Regarding the Israeli Merkava 2B and the American event Merkava 2C, there is not much difference, except for a little side armor on the turret and the turret roof, being practically the same, I don’t know if historically they could be given different ammunition. But the Merkava 2D is a substantial improvement over the previous two, with much more armor throughout the turret and extra armor in the area where the driver sits, apart from the fact that he should be given the M426 ammunition, which is what he would carry in reality. The problem is the same as always, the NERA only serves to increase the weight of the tanks, nothing more.
