In the game, the CV90 mk.4 doesn’t have an LWS. My question is why isn’t it added when it’s displayed to be powered by the FCS in x-ray mode. It literally shows that the FCS is powering the LWS which does not exist. Another thing that bothers me is that other light vehicles equiped with an LWS are either the same BR or a BR higher. Could Gaijin add it’s LWS please?

Short answer: CV90 Mk4 doesn’t have LWS sensors, thus doesn’t have it.
The x-ray doesn’t show any LWS on the FCS.

However, it says LWS/LR, not one. “LWS/LR” LWS or LR.
It’s clearly a universal term for the x-ray to reduce text options.
And no, that weather tower on the CV90 Mk4 is for FCS calculations for temperature and wind.

Yes, the towers you see on most modern vehicles are weather towers, not laser warning sensor towers.
A laser warning sensor tower will look like the ones on Leclerc AZUR, Italian Leopard 1A5, and Type 74.
Most of the time laser warning sensors are on the turret itself in the case of Type 10 and others.

Wiki states that as well, german languange doesnt show the lws module either.
So it seems like its a bug in the eng version

You are contradicting your statement then. You’re saying sticks “on the turret itself” are LWS like the AZUR. I’d also like to mention that the CV 90 MK4 is MUCH newer than the CV 90105 which HAS an LWS and ALSO has a stick right at the back of the turret like every other MBT that has LWS. Therefore the CV 90 MK4 needs to get an LWS, there’s no sense in removing the LWS on a newer thank comparing with the CV 90105.

The CV90105 does not use a tower for the laser warning sensors, it uses turret mounts:
My bad then, i thought these were lights ngl. If that’s the case I am sorry. I just cannot believe a newer tank doesn’t get a LWS. Not to mention the Vilkas and the CV 90 MK4 are the worst spike launchers in-game and are overshadowed by the new terminator which, probably, is better in every way and at the same BR of 10.7.

Lws , rcws , aps , spikes are all modules that are customer based.
If the customer doesnt want it. It doesnt get installed its that easy

I believe these are Puma’s sensors, though I could be mistaken: There are 2 more on the forward left of the turret.
Laser warning sensors are vehicle dependent.
And not always modeled on x-ray.
