To be fair, for AHS/Mi28 there wasnt much else they could give the heli tree. I dont like the Kungstiger, I would have rather they added the KV-1B/A to the tech tree, or the Kranvagn/Strv K - but its better then nothing.
At least its a BP vehicle, so its not that egregious.
(The same can be said of the Japanese tiger, but they are in an even worse spot vehicle-wise lol)
Fully get where you’re coming from, I just really hate the precedent it set.
Everytime snail allows such things, it just opens up the slippery slope for other people to ask for such things, and it doesn’t take long of that for WT to devolve into the other F2P tank game.
Like I can recall seeing footage from British Pathè, of a Jagdtiger being driven round a British evaluation circuit. We would all, hopefully, be able to collectively recognize giving Britain a Jagtiger on that basis would be ridiculous, so it really upset me to see so many Sweden mains pushing for, and defending the Kungstigers addition, when it’s every bit as nonsensical.
Tbh I think we were just happy to finally get a heavy tank 🤣
though tbf we had already set precedent with the III/IV soo…
I wouldnt mind Gaijn taking at least some steps to “devolve” as you say, if only for the plausible/realistic paper tanks. Would help minor nations round out their trees, and as long as they are plausible (And modelled as accurately as possible), I think it would be fine.
For planes though, I would have it contingent on universal FMs for all aircraft. (Presumably using some sort of wind tunnel software for consistency, its something I honestly do want.)
I also prefer cuckoo if we need to choose ‘only one’ of both for a new addition.
Still, As long as America has Capture A6M2 (Akutan one maybe) and Swedish received Kungstiger (French Captured King tiger which got shipped to Sweden for test purposes)…
It might be fine to have Tiger 131 too.
We will have a real good time with Centurion Mk.1 supported by [Captured Panther and Tiger] XD
Wdym no?
Look at this picture, THIS is not a a real Panther.
As i was right, it is a mockup made by a Polish team. Made for a MOVIE. Look at the tracks and running gear.
I think both of you guys are misunderstood each other
@Kamikadze_Guy, Ghostmaxi are pointing out that the ‘picture you provided’ was not the picture of a real panther tank but mockup props by Polish guys for making the movie
@Ghostmaxi, Kamikadze_Guy is saying that there was a real panther tank captured by Polish forces during the uprising.
To be fair, the tracks do make a large difference. Depending on angle and range, a shot that would normally go through, is stopped. For quite a few guns too.
