Why is Tiger 131 Not a British Premium?

Ok, then also British Tree as Captured foldered in the German Tree. Ty.

Looks despairingly at the Balkenkreuz Tempest

Maybe because the Tigris is at the same BR as the Tiger E but has its “only weakness” removed?

Yes, there’s a big difference between vehicles that were captured and actually used in combat by its captors vs just a disabled vehicle that was captured and shipped off for study. If the latter is the criteria for vehicles then essentially every nation would have every vehicle as a premium because vehicles are abandoned and captured literally all the time. Not even just during wartime, for example the US had at least one captured example of damn near every Soviet fighter during the cold war and vice versa

This isnt a original Panther.
Isnt that the mock up on T- something basis. The Tracks and part of the running gear appear to be so.
Not to mention the Muzzle brake.

SInce Germany has anything from any other country (better T-34, Churchill, Herman the German Sherman etc.), I think we should definately see Germany’s tanks in the hands of other countries.

Gaijin’s logic is that Sweden bought theirs from France, whereas 131 is still a captured vehicle.

Ims skeptical tiger 131 would be controversial. Its such an iconic vehicle. And britain is such an inoffensive nation. Honestly it would go well in lineup with the cent mk1

To be fair, for AHS/Mi28 there wasnt much else they could give the heli tree. I dont like the Kungstiger, I would have rather they added the KV-1B/A to the tech tree, or the Kranvagn/Strv K - but its better then nothing.

At least its a BP vehicle, so its not that egregious.

(The same can be said of the Japanese tiger, but they are in an even worse spot vehicle-wise lol)

How about this American captured King tiger?

Fully get where you’re coming from, I just really hate the precedent it set.

Everytime snail allows such things, it just opens up the slippery slope for other people to ask for such things, and it doesn’t take long of that for WT to devolve into the other F2P tank game.

Like I can recall seeing footage from British Pathè, of a Jagdtiger being driven round a British evaluation circuit. We would all, hopefully, be able to collectively recognize giving Britain a Jagtiger on that basis would be ridiculous, so it really upset me to see so many Sweden mains pushing for, and defending the Kungstigers addition, when it’s every bit as nonsensical.

Tbh I think we were just happy to finally get a heavy tank 🤣

though tbf we had already set precedent with the III/IV soo…

I wouldnt mind Gaijn taking at least some steps to “devolve” as you say, if only for the plausible/realistic paper tanks. Would help minor nations round out their trees, and as long as they are plausible (And modelled as accurately as possible), I think it would be fine.

For planes though, I would have it contingent on universal FMs for all aircraft. (Presumably using some sort of wind tunnel software for consistency, its something I honestly do want.)

Pretty sure this is a paper design only.

I think German mains would legitimately riot if there was a premium version of their best Tiger II in another Majors tree.

The ire towards the likes of Swedish Tiger / French Panther are lessened because not many players use them. (And they aren’t the best variants)

US players on the other hand would spam this thing out in hordes.
