The tam is way too OP for 9.0. It frontally pens anything and its almost impossible to kill frontally. You pen but it doesnt 1tap and then it out repairs your reload and boom your dead

Aim better. Tam has no armor and therefore is laughably easy to destroy/disable from all sides. Besides, TAM’s Br was just increased to 9.0 from 8.7

The engine can absorb the largest APHE on earth, but most APFSDS it faces punch through it anywhere easily, so if you use APHE then you will have to aim for the turret cheek, even T-10M/IS-7/Object 279 which is regarded as having one of the best APHE cannon also can’t punch through the engine unless you are at a certain angle. Once the APHE detonates in the engine, the TAMs are free to return fire right away as the crews didn’t take any damage.
So can most MBTs at its BR, though. Many people think the OF-40 Mk.2A is the best 9.0 due to its mobility, and the TAM is basically the OF-40 Mk.2A with even better mobility.
Its survivability is also quite high, with most shots to the vehicle not one-shotting despite its lack of armor.

Lmao, sounds like someone is having a skill issue. It’s a glass cannon mate, sure it’s round is a bit excessively potent for its BR, but it’s more than easy to kill.

i 1 tapped it one time. and that was with APHE from the side. I always need to hit it like 3 times to get a kill.
Not by much base on the br, JaPz.K A2 had better one and T-55M isn’t far away and they are 8.7s, the most potent ammunition in its respective br probably held by the one used by M48A2 GA2 and it’s 8.3.
If it goes up any higher, says 9.3, the Soviet has 3BM42 in the 2S25, which is even more potent than the DM63 the TAM2C uses

i died to a tam in my t-72 so wdym
Most stuff at that br can’t. Even the M1 105 can’t, which is 4 br levels above the T-72.
Hitting the ufp and turret cheek? the lfp is incredibly weak, even Tiger 2 can pen there.
It is a strong vehicle for sure but comes with a whole lot of weaknesses in its respective br when compare to its NATO counterparts. Can’t reverse, bad optical zoom, three crews instead of four, one strong point to offset another weaknesses which makes it a balance vehicle. I can make an example, you hop in the M48 Super, drive around, hull down, shoot, and switch on the thermal, you cannot convince me the T-72A is better or more well-rounded.
I am just using the M1 105 as a comparison. I know how to kill these types of tanks quite well. I just chose the M1 105 because it was the first thing that came to mind as a good counter to the message I was replying to.
I wish the TAM was half as good as people claim it is when they die to it.
Germany finally gets a good tank at that BR and everyone loses their mind.
Tam has weird armor, I ricochet on it all the time, I even had an iTOW ricochet off the front plate.
The Marder hull just has random magic bounce angles, it happens a lot
