Why is the Stormer HVM so bad?

I once got a nuke with the MTTD and the AAA. I also would like to see DM63.
On a similar note does anyone know if the ZA-35 used the APDS rounds?

ive got a nuke using only 8.7 spaa and the falcon XD

lets not go there. my only dropped nuke was with the Warrior and ZA-35

I hate the warrior (HATE) it XD

LRF, gen 2 Thermals and MILAN 2s makes for some… entertaining engagements at long range.

I was using the gun at 2.8kms because the MILANs dont have legs to get there

I didnt mind it before the atgms changes i refuse to use it now, most atgms are fk’d and i just avoid using them all together.

I haven’t… really used em since the changes.

However, in my mind apart from the god awful rate of fire, the Warrior gun is a solid bit of kit with the LRF.

The Milan’s and the zt3a2 missiles are some of the worst I’ve had to use. After 500m they become unstable due to over correcting they just end up flying off to one side. Only beam riding missiles feel usable, which is ironic as the zt3a2 should be beam riding but I somehow doubt it’s modelled that way.

The problem is and is with all manually guided missiles is gaijin has try’d to code in input latency over longer ranges which is partly realistic but for some systems it only really occurs at 6km+ imo, the biggest issue with programming latency in online (not test drive) the game already has it so its amplified twice over making vehicles unplayable. missiles like the Roland’s wander and wave about aimlessly like you told them turn 15 minutes ago. I cannot play the cv9040s or m247 on north American servers with 100 ping because my proxy round detonate behind the plane, EU servers 40 ping perfectly fine. however its still to much input lag for the missiles to be useable. side note atgms are affected by the ground underneath them, if you fire on flat ground they’ll do alil dip and carry on. if you fire over a hole/river or from an elevated position they nosedive towards the ground until they correct themselves.

Oh trust me I know. I have many hours put into the type 89 to where I reactively aim up to guide the missile down in order to stop it from nose diving. Although I tend to use the prox missiles as they more reliably kill mbts and control better.

Firstly the ZT3 should have fire on the move which I’m annoyed about.
Secondly I love the new ATGM camera.
Thirdly the Ratel 20 is missing said ATGM camera.
Fourthly I would really like the Javelin to come to the Warrior. As a different vehicle.

Yeah it isn’t ever getting fixed. I think that’s why so many people have suggested alternatives. If the GJN devs are incapable of getting the starstreaks to work properly they should just remove them and add something else.

Meanwhile they were happy to make the Strela the most broken OP spaa in the game, and it will probably remain that way.

At this point, you’re clearly right. If they had any interest in fixing it they would have done it long before now.

I’d ask Smim for an update, but there’s no point as we would just get the “It’s being looked at” canned response.

Pretty much. I’m hoping for another big community backlash when they inevitably turn around and say there is nothing wrong with the Challengers.
