STAIRS-C is described as a 3000 element linear scanning array
Almost two decades later, a 2nd Generation system, STAIRS C was introduced, based on single axis scanning and a long linear array of approximately 3000 elements.
Actually. I dont think its BMPT specific. Was using it earlier and had a number of light tanks take multiple hits to destroy. My record was a CV90 that took about 7 or 8 to kill
Could be some general funkyness with the Starstreaks vs ground vehicles at the moment?
The Wildcat was passed to the devs, so that hopefully will increase the chances of it being added, though whether we get it for the Stormer would be more up in the air, but one can hope
The main improvement has been the tracking and manoeuvrability update of the missile, the missiles are a bit more spread out now so you are both more liekly to get 1 hit, but also just as likely to get no hits at all.
The map mode is very good, however the system is sill missing predictive aiming and predictive impact point engagements for close in and manoeuvring targets meaning it really struggles against manoeuvring targets, or anything that is too fast/too close.
The missiles and laser seem to now show up on MAWS equipped aircraft, not sure if they did before but they definitely do now, so
New tracking is interesting, seems a lot more accurate, but I’ve also had them spread out so much that they thread the target through the middle. Also it feels almost impossible to hit anything below 1km now.
