Why is the Stormer HVM so bad?

I reported this ages ago. From conversations in this very thread.

Do you have any idea where the IFF antenna would be located on the Stormer HVM? I once found a brochure about the TSA 1400, an IFF device, which had “Selected for UK HVM” written on it, along with photos of a Stormer, suggesting that the Stormer HVM uses this system, but I never found where the antenna would be on the vehicle. Not that it matters much, to be honest.

Spoiler

I have no idea if im honest. Ill look around

Also who let that guy cook?

16 my man?

Well all know what part of Northern Ireland he’s from

Pretty sure the IFF antennas are the big flat panels above the launchers

They weren’t there originally when Stormer HVM entered service. And they’re generally similar to the IFF antenna on the LML pedestal and Rapid Ranger, albeit bigger

Nice! Looks like this “low profile antenna” in the TSA 1400 brochure
