It’s nuts this phasing issue is still present. We have a verified bug which cripples the vehicle and they just don’t seem to care.
I’m a software developer and it’s baffling to me this could be allowed to happen.
@Smin1080p - Me again. Any update or news on this issue? If you don’t have anything, can you please reach out to the devs and find out what the hell is going on? This issue needs fixing.
The issue is under investigation. It’s a complex matter that seems to be somewhat unique to Stormer. The developers are exploring possible causes and resolutions.
You would think they would just give us the stormer air defence or something until they can fix the Starstreak.
We’re not getting the LMM in all likelihood, devil06s suggestion went nowhere unfortunately.
Christ, I’d be happy with a chaparral as a temporary fix. Something, anything to plug the gap from 8.7 to 11.8 as the stormer is effectively not existent at the moment.
Do we have any sort of timescale, or any plan to mitigate the issue until it can be fixed properly?
Something as simple as a temporary proxy fuse on the Starstreak would help, although they may need some HE filler as they would be detonating away from the target.
Until the causation of the issue can be identified, it’s not possible to provide a timeframe at this moment in time. The developers are investigating it.
Wouldn’t the simplest solution be to simply add a stormer equipped with starburst as it removes the star streak from the equation and the vehicles model is already 95% done? Long term when the star streaks are fixed it just adds a 2nd spawn to deal with the mountain of cas at high tiers?
I spent a substantial chunk of my life grinding the british apache, and I only got to use it for a month or two before they dropped this bug on the starstreak.

Basically what it boils down to, is the devs are not competent enough to even identify what is causing the issue, never mind fix it. Embarrassing state of affairs for a game developer that charges so much money for products.
This in regards to the roland systems 2 stage motor? It’s also a thrust vectoring missile but in game you’d think it was being steered by a ships rudder
I’m a software developer and I can tell you right now that either the “fix” wasn’t tested at all or the tester was on something when they did it as it was screamingly obvious it wasn’t fixed with about 5 minutes worth of testing. Again, it’s a lack of care and not giving a crap.
And then they wonder why people get so angry with them are are so hostile, it’s a problem of their own making.
I’m not a software developer but I do a lot of coding in Python for data wrangling and statistical analyses. If we released an analysis as broken as this situation, and left it like that for this long, we would be in serious trouble. Game development in general seems to be much more relaxed about testing and quality assurance, but GJN absolutely takes the cake. I’ve never seen another company leave a gameplay element unplayable for this length of time. Then again, most developers don’t have to dedicate time to “researching” sources to justify their decision making.
Honestly they could just pick the lazier option and give us either Starburst or LMM. Or they could pick the even lazierer option and leave us with this broken mess.
