It is not small, the difference between normal Russian MIG-29 and german MIG-29 is small, it is around 200KGs, for SMT the difference is around 1200 KGs. What are you even talking about.

SMT has a noticeably better radar, will have more CM and more fuel if you want it. I’d say the 29G is a side grade not necessarily an upgrade.

Radar really does not matter until R-77 is added, after the changes to R-27s thrust and the speed bleed changes very long range shots are very hard vs non bot players, the missile lacks the range. the radar on the regular one is good enough. we do not have the extra CM in the game, only 60CMs.
