It’s an abnormally fragile aircraft that also suffers from death by simply yellowing out any of it’s parts. By either adding insane drag or insane inbalance or simply no authority of control at all. I remember when it came out, that the f-16 was able to tank r27er’s and still ball well enough to maul more enemies. Now it’s just a papercraft toy that if you sneeze too hard in it it dies. The mirage 2000 also suffers from this issue, and the phantoms as well. Meanwhile su27s and j35s which are essentially flying fuel tanks with huge wings they rarely have a fuel explosion or no balancing issues at all.
show prof like video or images so we can actually believe you. Because Mantis you do not have a good track recorder with this stuff
mfw my plane dies after being hit in the face by a missile
thats supposed to happen?
anything that flies does not like explosions
apparently not, according to rico you should just be able to survive ER’s to the face and win dogfights after kek
Speculations,… i played 2 F-16’s already and maxed them out,… yellow part making you dead doesn’t exist.
You mean it was unacceptably tanky before, and now that it’s balanced you’re complaining about it?
This ain’t GRB, bud. No aircraft should be able to survive a missile, or at the very least it’s extraordinarily rare.
Cough cough that rare exception being the F-15
That got hit by a plane, not a missile, big difference
Only exception cause it was hit by an A-4 and has a lifting body.
what the difference between a missile and a plane both explode on contact
Uh oh, Mantis is back.
How come he can’t just stick to reddit and discord, where he bothers nobody but his own echo chambers?
No example? Nothing? Alright…
No example? Again? Damn, you’re on a roll!
Su-27s and F-14s are quite possibly the easiest aircraft in the game to hit with fuel explosions, especially with protruding fuel tanks just below the upper surface.
J35s have absolutely trashed DMs, If you get damage on anything but your wingtip any turn you take can drag you down below 600km/h, and you’ll have major amounts of slip.
F-15’s don’t have lifting bodies, as they aren’t BWB airframes.
Even if its not a LB it produces significant lift from its body.
Missiles have Proxy fuses and no, missiles are designed to fire shrapnel like a shotgun to punch enough holes in the plane to make it blow up, as you can see that F-15 did not explode on contact.
You’re right on that, it’s a VERY stable aircraft with very little slip.
