They accelerate faster than the Meteor Mk 8, are faster overall, have better energy retention, and the roll rate at high speed is better, and the cannons have a higher RoF. It’s simply a better fighter. And the Meteor is at 8.0. It’s not even like the Mk. 8 meteors turn very well, in fact, they’re out turned by Yak-130s and Mig-15 BiS, so long as you’re going above 400 km/h, which is a prerequisite to not die in air rb. The big bonus is that at 7.7 they can’t face F3Hs, unlike the Mk. 8 Meteors.

Exactly. And cannons. These are the most important things for a fighter. If you have the energy and can disengage, you dictate the fights.

Mk. 8s got their cannons changed the Mk II Hispanos recently, so they have a lower RoF.
Isnt MkII have higher muzzle velocity?, I think i prefer that more than firerate
