eh. I love M48 Super more.

wait till you find out about gal batash

Gal isnt mobile as 48 Super, but im on my way

Alot of people overestimate the importance of the armor. It only works on inexperienced players. Firepower is great until you encounter another T-72 from another Tech tree, which is very common.

People tend to say that they are op and under tiered because they have great fire power and strong armor for the br, while ignoring the cons of the T-series

T-72 vs T-72 has nothing to do with br changes, If one T-72 goes up, they all go up.

Low reverse speed which is only a con for players who rush into the open field and realize they can’t back up to cover now. They’re others but its the same for all T-series. KPZ70 and other tanks have cons like no armor and low pen which I think is more severe than gun handling and low reverse speed.

All the T-72, even the german one, have better stats than the KPZ70 and MBT70 which are in the bottom half of 9.3. The OF-40 MTCA premium has the best stats at 9.3 because it has same pen as t-72 but its less armored and less mobile than kpz70. I don’t understand how you guys think MBT70/KPZ70 are so op they need to go up to 9.7 when they’re extremely mid at 9.3 compared to other tanks that are better than them in so many ways.

T-72A is a strong tank and i’ve spaded them in all TT.
but if it "must"go up all 9.3 do, every other 9.3 MBT has DM33 or better, which balances out the better armour on the T-72A (variants), combined with better mobility.

I agree, 9.3 tanks with similar pen as T-72 need to go to 9.7. However tanks like KPZ70 and MBT70 should stay at 9.3 where they have half the pen of rounds like DM33.

since the upgrade of DM33, DM63 offer little to no more penetration then its predecessor.

  • switched back to DM33 on TAM2C to reduce costs ;)
Olifant has lower PtW ratio, lower top speed, high profile, basically still Cent armour.
Good reverse and great gun depression, the rest is mediocre, great on ridge lines.

I’ve noticed for some time now that the final APDS-FS models of the 105mm gun seem to lack a certain level of effectiveness. For example, as has been said, the difference between the DM33 and the DM63 is so brutally marginal that the only thing I can think of is that either the APDS-FS penetration calculator is incorrect and doesn’t properly assimilate some data, or that the DM63’s penetration is correct because it’s a cheaper factory version than the DM33.

its also a con if you get breeched or get your gunner killed in a close quarters scenaril

a t-72 will die with no real chance of survival, but an olifant/xm1/mbt-70 will have a chance to make it out

it also has gen 2 thermals and pretty good turret armor

And in the city maps, where you can be attacked from 2 corners and can’t retreat fast? Sure you can rotate your hull, but by the time you complete the rotation one of the attackers will surely shoot the back of the tank. And with an fcs that bad you can’t guard 2 corners effectively.

calling the leo1A5 bad is crazy

Not a fan of it compared to the megach 6C or whatever it is at 9.3 tbh

the T72A at 9.3 is one of the stronger T72s BR per BR, it’s armours reliable, it’s mobility isn’t completely obsolete like at higher BRs either.
It’s round is comparable to the L23 found on british tanks as well as a 7 second reload at that BR out does most other 9.3 MBTs or is only marginally slower.

Unlike at higher Brs when NATO gets 5 second reloads.

it has more pne, but only recently got the DM33 in the last year or so.
It’s mobility got nerfed so it’s top speed lost 5km per hour.
It’s a decent little 9.3 but I wouldn’t say it’s a 9.7 worthy like other say.

Italy is rarely played, so their prem players tend to well especially in that bracket.
I got 35 kills with the MBT 70 in two games, that doesn’t make it OP like others make out.

the AMX30 Super is about the only 9.3 minor nation tank I think which could handle being 9.7 easily.

cause as soon as they go to 9.7 they’re back to facing

  • leopard 2a4
  • CR1
  • Abrams
  • T80B / UD

Gen 2 commander and gunner thermalsBTW

The t-72a is fine at where its at. It’s not really that broken and it’s still pretty easy to kill it.

  1. Its still 30mm difference
  2. it has MORE pen than 3BM22 of T-72A

wow, what a cheapscate

i must ask what is this, because i dont understand that abbveriation

ah but better maneuverability and reverse

but with two!!! gen2 or 3 thermals (still dont see much the difference ingame)

not so much, but also not much more. It has hudely buffed turret which whistands APFSDSes really, but the turret ring and hull are weakspots

The rest is ether “better” than everyone around or same. So its only bad at speed

Is it not? Its mediocre at best
AMX-30 Super has better mobility, M48 Super has better armor + better thermals, OF-40 has better horisontal and vertical traverse, and the OF-40MK2 has this + better mobility. Type 74G has better APFSDS + better turret protection, and the Leo L44 has better shot. The CM11 has better shot + 5s reload + some armor, the MBT-70 has VASTLY superior mobility and protection plus traverse, lacks in penetration but its okay. Same with XM-1. I cant find a 9.3 that in all parts worse than 1a5. Well maybe the Magach at 9.3 is worse.

yeah because that tank would be 9.0 xD
its a decent well balanced tank

Again its mediocre at best. Ones are faster, others have better armanment, and leo? is just… exists?. Its not that it bad, its that it isnt interesting or has some visble advantage in any way.
