I don’t understand why it is placed on such a high BR. The performance of lvkv/stv9040 in the game is severely overestimated, while Begleit57 is better and only at 9.3. I think the most suitable BR for strv9040B should be equal to Begleit57, and all 9040 need to receive m/01 or enhanced loading speed

Begleitpanzer 57, despite the cannon and more ammo ready has inferior firepower to the Strf 9040B, C and Lvkv 9040C, the ammunition, which I forgot the exact designation performs better than the, again I forgot, 57 mm Solid AP of the Begleitpanzer 57,
It has decent armor for a vehicle its kind, better post-pen damage, which means you don’t need to unload 48 rounds at one target, at least 7 is enough for disabling anything.
The same reason Begleit is 9.3 and 2S38 is 10.3.
Strf 9040B has a good round.
If Strf 9040B got m/01 it’d be 10.3.

this is a complete and absurd lie, beigleit 57 APCBC has way more post-pen damage than the anemic 0.5kg apdsfs from 9040B.
The advantage of 9040B shell comes at angle armor/distance where the pen start to get a somewhat better but the difference of it is as negligible as puma to bmp-2m ammo, also having a hand there begleit have a way better firepower with it’s ammo ready rack and it’s replenish speed (that take the same 2 seconds as 9040B but it can start replenishing during fire instead of waiting 3 seconds without shooting on 9040B to then start to load) not only that begleit also has ATGM that is decent and can help it on head-on encounters with enemy MBT’s, so not only begleit has a better gun(since you do need way less shots on target), ATGM, somewhat same mobility, slightly better survivability but it’s at a lower Br for some unknow reason

47mm of pen on the begleit at 60° compared to 83mm at 60° for the 9040B doesn’t seem so negligible

even then still not enough to pen most things 9040B faces with constant 10.3~10.7’s, so yes negligible,
Begleit didn’t pen the side cause of angle, Go go Gadget I-TOW. 9040B didn’t pen the side cause of angle, welp time to J-out
