hence why f-5s still thrive, because people still haven’t learnt that thing they said about “do not dogfight zeroes, run away from them”. But yeah, it’s a cope post, the f-5e is SOOO op, it should go back to 11.0 to fight j7e daily and face r27er’s with just 20 chaff pops and two aim9j’s against six plus all aspect missiles and doppler radars. A plane that gets toyed by the MiG19S should go 11.0.
Two of some of the best A2A guns in the game = mediocre…apparently.

the best a2a guns, you mean vulcan and gsh30-1? i’ve never lost to an f-5 most of the times because the times they managed to land shots on me I didn’t get enough damage to actually stop me from winning the dogfight.
“Some of the best”, meaning up there with guns like the vulcan.
Meaning you were up against players who missed almost all of their shots.

no, the m39s do literally a whole bunch of nothing. As far as receiving and giving experience of mine goes.

the f-5c counts about 90 team kills, the f-5e was two weeks at 11.0 til today and has only 14 team kill deaths.

Yea they may be slightly inferior ( cuz i also played cas in them) but that still points out how much of a coper you are.

I think saying that everyone in this thread “lacks experience” is a rather large exaggeration.
This is just an assumption but I’m guessing at least everyone here, including you and me have fought/played either F-5E or J35XS (or both).
Everyone here, including me are replying from our in game experience when it comes to fighting/playing both.
And personally I will still stick with my opinion that F-5E is a much more competent plane than 35XS at 10.7 and even 11.0.
12 flares is a struggle at 10.7, let alone 11.0. That doesn’t make 35XS bad my any means but god do I want to forget spading the 23M.

Also, proof that something is “better” general performance wise (not including player performance) is kinda meaningless imo, you have things like F-16A that out preform MiG-29SMT 9.19R FM wise, doesn’t mean it should be the same br or higher
But that’s just my take on this whole slop thread.
