Why is gaijin so lazy when it comes to chinese armaments?

Here’s the deal, either PL-8B is identical to PL-5EII in IRCCM in which case they’re identical in air RB, or PL-8B is superior and can’t be added until superior flare simulation is added.

Either way PL-5EII is a meta IR missile.

As for TV guided munitions at 12.3… no, just a bad air to ground ordnance, though okay for air modes. Which is likely why it’s not in the game.

thank you for the comment, but im confused about your second statement about tv guided bombs. the c701 is a missile, not a bomb. if you are already aware of that fact then i apologize for me misunderstading you.

C-701T is TV+IR so itll be good enough. plus its around 18km of range so its not OP like the Kh-38MT

Wow, 2km less range than the KH-38, AGM-65, Hammer, and PGM /3…
IR would make it competitive though.

As far as im aware its range is about 25km, would have to look it up to be sure. But the reason why i want it in the game is to have somthig actually chinese to use in ground rb instead of having a bad kh29.

It’s a combination of IRCCM and also an improved motor that gives it more range over the standard PL-8

At the very least, PL-8B hasn’t been added because it’s a comprehensive upgrade for the PL-8. A much more powerful motor, higher G limit, and ~40 degrees off boresight. It would be very strong for the current game state, so gaijin messed around and gave it 5EII for balance.

The speed of the 38 is more why its strong rather than the range.
Oh and payload.

There’s nothing wrong with the pl-5eii, except the fact that the plane never carried it. Pl8’s would be better, but not game changing, so there’s no reason for it to carry them. It would be like if the f15e got r60m’s for balancing reasons, just doesn’t make sense.

I’ve yet to see evidence that J-10A is incapable of using PL-5EII missiles.
And I’m not the only one.
Conjecture is cool, but not useful.

And no it’s more like F-15E getting AIM-9Ms… which it has.

There’s no specific evidence that it can’t carry them, but there’s no evidence that it ever has either.

I don’t care about what IR missiles it has, what I care about is how J-10A, JH-7A, JF-17 are all missing air-to-ground ordnance (mainly A2G missiles).

I just want more Chinese A2G weapons, now China is the worst faction in WT and no one wants to play this.
