This BR placement is criminal, how does it belong to 4.0?
It’s still a Yak-3. It doesn’t matter if it loses one of its 12.7mm’s, it still hits hard. Ammo conservation isn’t too hard when every fight is either out-turn or out energy. It’s insane. I can’t believe it sits this really low!

Imho your example is just the most obvious case of gaijin totally ignoring the fact that all ShVak armed fighters are way too low in their BR.
You might argue that their low BRs were somehow comprehensible in the pre Real Shatter 2.0/3.0 era - but not after the ShVak became a one tap (vs fighters) killer.
This mess starts at BRs of 2.3 in Air RB.

That’s the problem, it loses one .50cal but the ShVAK is still by far its biggest source of killing power. So really you have 95% of the firepower of the best 4.3 fighter and it’s even very slightly more agile.

The Yak-3 as a plane in the game is just so annoying to deal with in any plane that’s not a spitfire.

and even then it gets the most BS flight model in game to the point that even an LF MK9 will struggle

The logic is that it has low firepower but in practice this just means low skill players won’t like it but high skill players will farm with it.
This was why they were lower before and its why they should be higher now (post realshatter fixes)
