The BMP’s just seem HESH proof, i legit shot one in the side point plant with 120mm HESH from my Chieftain and it nonpenned.
I was serching for a pic or vid of how a pointblank shot at a tank looks like thanks.
eh? It is a 1 shot machine with a high velocity, high calibre round.

Yes, I cant argue with that but the FV4005 works imo.
Really at the moment I see no reason for FV4005 sit at BR it is when KV-2 feels like so much better vehicle. In KV-2 you don’t die to first auto cannon or heavy MG that shoots at you. You’re smaller profile(Not much but still) and most importantly 152mm HE feels so much more reliable then 183mm HESH

FV4005 has three possible solutions:
- Move its BR to like 4.7 where it’d at least overpressure things easier with its busted ass HESH round
- Fix HESH (probably extremely high effort to do right
- Just make HESH work exactly like HE and it’d thunderpummel as it should
As it stands right now, the round just isn’t compatible with the volumetric stuff for sure. Hitting the MG on a Panther and having that soak the entire 183mm round is just absurd.
It’s fun when it works, but the reload rate combined with the 3 strikes on defense (Garbage armor, garbage agility, garbage profile) means that the round HAS to work every time, and as it stands it’s not even close.

Give us FV4005 stage 1, and fix HESH
Also, since everyone here uses the FV4005, where do you shoot Tiger 1’s? I always try to shoot the turret face pretending I’m shooting an HE shell, but it non pens and does nothing

shooting the turret above the driver and maching gunner hatches dont overpressure for some reason, at least according to the protection analysis

That’s where I always shoot when I don’t have time to think, guess I will have to go for the cupola or something from now on
A Tank with a gun this big and powerful should not have to go around sniping weakspots to get kills.
The ONLY way to get one shots anymore with the 4005 is to snipe tiny weakspots.
