You realize that if you research ranks 4 with rank 2 vehicles you get a penalty? By your wording you’re researching them with the rank 2 4.0s as well.

With the M24 moved to rank III, it makes sense that the Puma goes to rank III as well, especially given its historical role as a reconnaisance vehicle throughout the war. However, that would then create a gap in tier II, that could easily be filled by putting the Panzer 38(t) N.a. to tier II. (It’s a prototype reconnaisance vehicle with much worse armour that other Pz38s but better mobility, so it is a good fit for a scouting vehicle.

Of course, that then leaves the problem of where in the tech tree to put it. The Germany Tier III tree already looks… unpleasant (mainly due to the two separate TD lines, made worse due to the M44 and M55). In my personal opinion, the ‘best’ spot to put it would be above the Flak bus, so that it doesn’t change which line its in, but that would then mean that you would have to grind the Dicker Max before the Puma, so there isn’t really a good solution. It’s kind of understandable why Gaijin doesn’t move it, because of their previous choices, it is difficult now.

All tanks destroyer should grouped in a single line and leave the other line for a proper ligh tanks line.
