Why don't we have a BR 5.7 or 6.0 for a Heinkel He-111?

So we have 3 variants of the He-111 bombers, why don’t we have a few more with better Bombs and better guns? I would like to have a newer He-111 Bomber.

With a max speed for any variant which is 420km/h it would be a sitting duck…

Arguably the H-16/R1 is the last meaningful change in either armament or performance

H-21 swapped the engines with Jumo 213’s
H-22 was a modified H-16 to fire V1 Flying Bombs
Z-1 twin airframes for glider tug purposes

it would just be eaten live by everything known to man.

That sounds awesome, if not useless in War Thunder, bc maps are to small and targets are to small^^

Besides the early variants with stepped noses the only other one worth adding is the H-20 with new engines for slightly improved performance and better defensive armament. It could probably justify a BR3.7 but that as high as it go.

The H-21 was a transport. H-22 could carry a Fiesler 103 (aka V-1) but would be useless as the missiles CEP was measure in miles from a ground launch and even worse from the air.

Iirc none of the Zwilling Z’s planned as bombers or missile trucks were built. All those in service were tugs/transports although I believe their external stores racks could still in theory be used for bombs. Obviously it would gain from better armament but it would be a lumbering giant and not worthy of anything above 3.7.

There really isn’t one. The 111 was a very early design and taking it further than they already did would be like making an entirely new plane.

Would be better to just add a Ju 288 to the tech tree, or another He 177. Or the Fw 191, or the Ju 90 and 290. But no 111 ever really made it further.

Are you implying that they are nerfed in this game (they are) since the H-16 should be doing 435 km/h with even later variants capable of 475 km/h:

I’m not sure what you think you posted but in the included picture for the He 111 H-16
“Ohne Bomb. 1/2 Kraftstoff” = in English translates to without bomb, 1/2 fuel
the numbers listed are
365km/h, 400km/h, 410km/h, 435km/h so really the H-16 isn’t under-performing but by maybe 15km/h empty of payload and light on gas…

The He 111 H-21 did have a max speed of 480km/h at 7000m BUT and this is a big BUT in the reality of game play terms given map sizes and time constraints of matches 99.9999999% of He 111 H-16’s carrying a bomb load of any sort (even napalm) with given even a climb-rate of 4.6m/s (He 111 H-16’s naked climb rate) are not going to reach that altitude.

Doing the math, it would take 10.8 minutes with a air spawn of 4000m to reach 7000m to get to altitude and then accelerate slowly to the 480km/h figure. That’s Ignoring though the glaring issue, most fighters at 3.0BR top out around 600km/h and climb at around 18m/s±…

You are a 1000x better off flying the 3.0BR Ju-88’s than any He 111. Currently the only reason to fly the He 111 H-16 is for the nuke (SC2500) payload in ground battles of which the Ju-88’s are artificially restricted from getting.

A fighter taking off from ground level reaches 4000m in ~3.7minutes at that point the He111 (naked) has climbed to 5021.20m from 4000m, simply put the He 111 isn’t making it to 5500m when it takes 5.09minutes for a fighter to climb to that altitude while the He 111 H16 takes 5.43minutes

The Average fighter at BR 3.0 would have to have a climb rate of 14.9m/s to allow the He 111 to reach 7000m before interception occurs.

A 5.7 or 6.0 BR He 111 would have to have space magic helping it in every game to warrant those BR’s. I will say though that the He 111 along with the B-17 are definitely lacking in damage model toughness, their wing design (the reason they’re so slow) should be sturdier than what it currently is with all bombers being essentially flying pinatas exploding at the slightest graze.

I clearly posted a He 111 V32, He 111 Z, & He 111 H-16 with extra weaponry in response to the OP asking for better He 111. Then I posted an excerpt from an H-16 manual since an unfounded claim was being made that the “max speed for any variant was 420 km/h”. Finally, I will leave an excerpt for the H-20 here:

I certainly would love to see the V-1 Flying Bomb as an ordinance option for the He-111, and frankly also any other German Bomber with the necessary payload capacity to carry it.

As it is unguided, it could functionally-speaking just act like a gigantic Tiny Tim rocket. Or we could get the Fi-103R version that we guide ourselves into the target while the bomber flies on autopilot until the Fi-103R is intercepted or explodes as intended. The same “manually control the missile as if it were your own plane” could be used to implement the MXY7 Okha for the G4M1, Ki-49s, and Ki-67 bombers, too.

I also would love to see the ultra-wide He-111Z, just for memes. But with the possibility of carrying two Fi-103Rs, it might not be a total meme…
