I have noticed this with many aircraft, where the radar doesn’t tell me when it sees somebody, but if I randomly try to lock (or in this case of my mirage that tracks without lock), it will find them. Have I touched a setting I shouldn’t have touched or is this a glitch?
The radar clearly sees that someone is there, but it doesn’t show on the HUD
Check your IFF filter setting (the two lines in the square bottom left in the Radar UI shows that you have a filter set to only show friendly targets).
