I think it is because swedes did not build heavy tanks.
Krangvang/emile. It could have 120 and 150 mm variants.
Tbf I think we should have a Finnish captured Kv-1 as TT (they captured both the 1941 and 1942 model the latter being the one we got as an over br’ed prem)
Unfortunately none of the scandinavian countries ever really used heavies.
Sweden trialed a churchill tank post ww2
Unfortunately, the Swedes, like Japan, did not have many heavy tanks. Additionally, Gajin decided to give heavy tanks to these countries behind a pay wall. I would like to see OI and Emil.
Ay then there’s a whole heavy more we could have! Did actual trial it for the purpose of potential adaptation or was it more similar to the Kungstiger and Panther where they kinda just drove them around a bit before blowing them to bits?
Why would anyone even want to play a heavy tank in WT?
You’ll just be hunted by some random little vehicles nobody ever heard of (before he google them up) with some kind of rockets (that were irl used primarily for scouting and that are like 30 years younger than your vehicle).
Despite I highly agree, only a chassis with a small picture positioned above it, and a ~80 years old blueprint of a Japanese super heavy tank would be enough for addition?
My guess is: At the time no. I don’t mind prototype vehicles unless they’re not featured in the tech tree, because they have to be some kind of special. Obviously you can point some exceptions like everything named “Object” in USSR tech tree,
Eventually Gaijin will have to rely on prototypes, and maybe, just maybe paper vehicles, specially unfinished ones, which I’d prefer falling under prototypes category. It’s just a matter of time, I hope, to we see those vehicles like the O-I and the Emil.
Or they can simply continue releasing copy vehicles indefinitely…
But I hope you are right. I find prototypes extremely interesting…
Fortunately, the Swedes have a Finnish subtree. The Japanese can only receive three more Type 91 heavy tanks, Mi-To and OI, while the Swedish ones have Emil tanks and the Finnish KV tanks and probably IS tanks.
People shouldn’t “main” 1 nation.
Emil II
Not finished
No, only a 155mm was planned, the WOT variants are non-existent, there was one KRV hull built.
Neither was the Panther F…
That was old gaijin, current gaijin has different rules despite what they say F16AJ (cough) regardless the Emil is unfinished
I don’t follow.
The Emil II heavy tank was a project started by Sweden in the 1950s. It never made it to production - apparently they developed 2 chasis.
Like the Emil, the Panther F project was started by Germany but never finished.
If the Panther F can make it into the German TT, the Emil tank should be able to make it in the Swedish TT. Might be more of a stretch, but would give Sweden players an option to field a heavy tank like many other nations.
Again rules change and the old rules are what allowed old vehicles to be added. All ik saying is that if you want confirmation that the Emil can come to the game DM Smin
NOOOOOO!!! I highly disagree with the KRV being premium. Sweden needs a tech tree heavy tank that’s the whole point of this thread
furthermore, NOT AN EVENT. Those will become six hundred sixty six quintillion six hundred sixty six trillion six hundred sixty six billion six hundred sixty six hundred million six hundred sixty six thousand six hundred sixty six dollars and only a few will get it
Aside from the terrible photoshop image at the bottom the only real Kranvagn that has any potential to be added is the AKV 151
Seriously that bottom image hurts to look at 🤢
