Why does the Su-30SM get R-77-1 while the F/A-18C is stuck with AIM-120B?

Doesnt affect gameplay, the difference is simply too small

my brother in christ,
the whole point was the 7m and 7f being identical i just proved you wrong on that

They are identical, a inperceivable differen in diameter doesnt change that. Youre being insufferable.

yes it does because they aren identical

the r-77-1 is only like a single percent better than the aim-120A/B

Where do you think I am referring to, IRL or Ingame?
Also, is a smaller diameter that marginal of a difference?

Please, for the love of god stop trying to argue something when literally it does not matter

You’re crying so loudly, I don’t understand why your embarrassing post is even being discussed. It’s only because your F15 & F16 are facing direct competition, even though they still have a better climb rate. And the R77-1 is barely on par with the AIM120. You’re such an embarrassing player. The only thing that should be discussed is your huge skill issue. For you, the game is fair if you simply climb to 10km altitude, fire 8 amraams, and turn back to the airfield while getting 2-5 kills. for you its fair when at 14.0 mig23 would fly against your f15. You should probably uninstall the game and be ashamed of your post. So ridiculous. You’re crying so loudly, it can be heard across all continents. And that’s just because you now have to fight against players who are almost as powerful as you. learn to play or uninstall.

I noticed that after the introduction of the Su-30, the AIM-120 began to behave worse, much worse, they go into chaff, constantly go into the ground and generally switch to allies. I watch replays and see how the AIM-120 simply loses the target that flies right in front of it. Tell me, maybe someone else noticed this too?

AIM-120 One of the worst missiles in the game. It seems to be the only FOX-3 that easily goes into chaff. Here’s an example: I throw an AIM-120A at a Su-30, it throws off the chaff and my two AIM-120s simply go into chaff.
And when an R-77 missile flies at me, it doesn’t react to the chaff or to the fact that I’m flying near the ground, it’s like it’s magnetized to me. And that’s a fact. Today, the AIM-120 is useless trash.

Don’t all fox-3’s have the same seeker besides Mica?

It does if u are up high, IDK how the newer seeker’s chaff resistance are gonna be, but just for a point, u are forcing ur enemy to dodge and especially with things like Su27SM which can’t use TWS in notch method, pretty much neglects their chance of firing back. Same with AMRAAM, not an advantage enough to take easy kills from long range, but almost guarantees that 1. you are safe, 2. the enemy need to notch 3. u could still get a kill on someone watching youtube.

I don’t think any complaints about AMRAAM being bad is fair, it is by far the best in terms of kinetics and seekers are the same. I can get what you are going at though, seems like R-77-1 is the only missile not affected, but some ARH has the behaviour to turn off seeker after a short period, which happens to most ARH missiles, it looks like it ate chaff but in reality just went into IOG mode.

yes. Afaik MICA has the best seeker in game rn, with an improvement within the margin of error kek

Also I just found out that 77-1 Wobbles really bad that makes it lose small amounts of energy that stacks up lol

No fox 3 is bad, derby is the only one half bad. But amraam is extremely overrated

I havent noticed it. Is it aim7m levels if wobble?

Hang on let me video it in a match, wobble doesn’t appear in test drive

They aren’t? The Su-35 is quite literally worse in every way with the Su-37 having the POSSIBILITY of a better engine (that was never procured until half a decade later).

Its a fact that ur talking trash. Aim120 on of the worst missles in the game, good joke xD

I mean, if Gaijin decided to add the AIM-120C this year or maybe months from now would it make the F-15E almost unbeatable and overpowered?
