Id still take Magic IIs over Aim-9Ms in a 1v1 dogfight. Half the time I skip over them entirely and just go for guns. which is why I stick to BVR

yes, because the average player in the average match doesn’t get the perfect set up to a 1v1 duel like you do in custom battles. i would too take the magic 2 over the 9m for normal arb flight. it’s stilll OP as hell, im not arguing against that

Its joint second best in game right here right now in terms of FM. Typhoon is barely able to hold onto its lead with the buffs at the moment.
F-2 stands a chance. but everything else is a free kill to you so long as you dont do anything stupid.

In actual matches, where it actually matters. Rafale has the second best FM in the game. Throw its OP HOBS potential and its the best WVR aircaft in game with ease
R-77-1 excels on both but the platform is a bit slow. Range doesnt matter much though, the faster acceleration to launch into a target 20-15km away is much more important and the mica wins there on top of having the best seeker paired with the best radar paired with a very fast platform

this is from before its weight change, so I would expect it to move up significantly now
the j10 beats rafale i own it does not its lower TWR causes it to loose a lot ? and the grippen has a pretty low TWR too
If you are dying to J-10s, F-16s or even Gripens, then I advice you just stop playing top tier

F16A i just noticed that OMG you dont even face it in real matches it also doesnt have the highest TWR ive beaten them in F14s
