Why does the F-15E have a 22.5% thrust loss vs other aircraft

all propaganda against the US for sure /s

remove 9L from the B and make it 13.7, while we are at it take inspiration from very early factory models when no RWR etc was mounted and it was just a shell

Not asking for first, asking for fairness or at least an explanation as to why it’s 22.5%

What is there to make fair? Balancing? Still is one of the best lol

US never fired Phoenix in combat - remove it from Tomcats.

Rafale and EF are better, that’s like 4 nations worth of em lol so F-15 is like 5th assuming the F-15 is better than the su-30sm which it isn’t

By the time your F15E is in space, a Su30 is lucky to be at 6k

That’s… a bit of a stretch. Both are strong in their own way, direct comparison will tell you nothing really.

WRONG, low orbit… Not space… If they fix the 22.5%, I’ll be playing kerbel space mission with my f-15e

Ah cool, so its the average US main powertrip or? Can other nations not be good for more than 1 week huh

S ducts seemed to be buffed against the straight ducts

All jokes aside, who’s power tripping? I asked why it’s 22.5%. A simple question

Well make a bug report and grab some sources to get it “fixed”. You will 99.99% not get an answer except from devs either way. And please just tell us 1 jet ingame that is a direct counterpart to its irl modification. The best speculation we here can give you is gaijin takes a rough 80-90% of the max thrust and balances jets around this and their general BR and tech. But keep in mind this may aswell be the exact opposite of how it really is

well its not just the F15 its the F14 MIG 29 SU27s etc

S ducts seem to perform artficially better

Yeah obviously, you can probably name around 90% of jets and be right

Wouldnt put it past them that they somehow have volumetrics influence that lmao

well the hole thing about channel loss is that when you change the direction of the air it looses speed making it slower not feeding as fast straight shots to the engine should feed more air then S ducts TVC also effects thrust performance as your changing its direction

I fully expect a completely unrelated variable for something else to influence the way it works ingame for airducts. This is gaijin we are talking about afterall really
