Why does the British Harrier T.10 have such a rapid removal schedule?

Probably because it’s a Harrier, and with how Gaijin treats Harriers, few people would buy one.

? Harrier 2 is one of the best subsonic aircraft for its BR.
That’s not the take to make there.

The Harrier 2 would have low sales whether or not its minor issues were fixed.

That’s just to comply with advertising laws.
They’ll be reintroduced as GE premiums in the future.

They are also underperfroming considerably in most aspects.

Loadout is identical to like-aircraft at the BR.
CMs are higher than aircraft of the same BR.
Engine is a minor issue, which should be fixed but it’s not causing issues for the aircraft.
FM of the Harrier 2s is currently extremely competitive, so any issues would be benefits, not fixing something that’s unplayable.

Yes. However, the Harrier T.10’s poor targeting pod significantly hampers its CAS efficiency. This is why, despite having more hardpoints than the American AV-8B (NA), it is rated lower in comparison. If Gaijin were to equip the Harrier T.10 with a better targeting pod, more players would likely be willing to use it. (Unfortunately, even though the Harrier T.10 could potentially use the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod, the UK never actually fitted it with a new pod in reality.)

By the way, if the Harrier T.10 is eventually converted into a Golden Eagle vehicle, the British tree would become the only nation in the game where players could obtain a relatively complete 11.7 lineup (Challenger OES, Rooivalk, Harrier T.10) for just 15,000 Golden Eagles during the anniversary sale. Moreover, it could potentially be offered as a bundle in future updates

It also suffers hard from being in an airspawn only BR. Before it would be quite good at getting to the match at the same time as the supersonic planes, but now they are just too slow.

AV-8BNA and Harrier T.10 are identical BRs.
Both also have thermal targeting pods.

Yes, but in the game, the AV-8B(NA)'s targeting pod is better than the Harrier T.10’s, which allows the AV-8B(NA) to spend less time acquiring targets compared to the Harrier T.10.

Yeah that doesnt help either

its TIALD vs Litening II. Which is especially annoying when

A) It could have Sniper

Or

B) TIALD has the same thermal imager as the CR2s which is modeled as Gen 2. (Like a 2 year old report to get it to gen 2)

Let alone the fact the Harrier T-10/GR7 has to give up 50% of its guns whereas the AV-8BNA does not

AV-8B has 50% less gun from the start. ;)

Yep - FOMO doesn’t kick in until it isn’t available for a while.

Which has triple the ammo or each 25mm ADEN on its own

It’s a godawfully bad plane, the only use I’ve ever gotten out of it was in AAB.

I love how every time someone says that X aircraft is bad (because it is), it magically becomes “one of the best something something aircraft for its BR”

The only redeeming quality of harriers is their superior loadout at the same BR like the 9.7 ones. However, in a BR with flares, R60M and 9L are basically the same, which means it has literally nothing going on for air RB. Maybe ground players have any use for it but there must be better a option in the TT.

Because I compare like to like.
I’m not going to do a false equivalence fallacy that’s easily picked apart.

Also “for its BR” has to be said because AV-8B+ is a higher BR as an example, obviously “the best” without saying “for its BR” will be whatever the highest BR jet of that class is.

“It’s bad because it’s too slow!”

“Well by god if it isn’t the best slow plane to every exist!”

(there are only 2 more subsonic planes at 11.3)
