Yes, in the game the AGM-65G is designed for lightly armored targets.
All mavericks are trash, 50kg of TNT on T80 roof or 2A7 cheeks and its just a hit, nonexistent overpressure

AGM-65G cannot be carried in a “Three Maverick” configuration because it’s much heavier. It’s not better than the D tbh

In the case of the A-10C, frankly id rather see it go down to 11.7 in GRB, it used to be there and was fine but people whinged that it would be OP with a TGP at that BR, yet now we have the mass proliferation of high end SAMs and the 10C is just unusable at 12.0.
Issue weapons wise is that there is not really much that can be given to the 10C to make it better in it’s role bar experimental or canceled weapons, EG the MALD-V with a warhead, or the Maverick-ER which never saw the light of day. The Maverick-ER in particular would be a fantastic KH-38 equivalent but given gaijin abhors concept weapons for anyone but Russia its not happening.
Dropping it down to 11.7 will be the best solution here.

I still have refused to play the A-10C because its just way too high of a BR for what it has
Facing incredibly good SPAA in an aircraft that just does not have any range to fight them with
And now that they buffed the zoom on the mavericks you dont even need a TGP to begin with so overall id just rather use the A variant at 10.7 where its actually usable

Even at 11.7, it would hardly help in this current state.
The only advantage the C model has over the A-10A Late is the Sniper Pod and Glide Bombs.
It’s by far one of the worst dedicated CAS planes at 12.0. Even with mavericks being it’s best weapon, it has limited range because of the platform.
This aircraft is not 12.0 material. It should be moved down to 11.7 or 11.3 (especially with the recent spaa additions) so that it can be more useable and not down right useless.
For the A-10C to be 12.0, it needs to get better agms (or rocket assisted munitions), not gbus. The IR variant of the APKWS (forgot the name) and JAGM-F would make it a lot more versatile.
It’s gonna be funny seeing contrarians justifying it’s BR when the most experience they have is from playing it in ARB.
