Why do some mods close topics?

I have had two convos closed for a reason I don’t know. the most confusing one is the one where I brought up the idea of shortening the grind and using a coin based system instead of rp. it got closed not even 10 mins later. why is this? I’m still kind of new to the forums and only trust 2 soooooo

Because they are against community guidelines or because its already being discussed in another thread, those are the most common reasons anyways

it will usually mention at the top of the topic why it’s closed or with a comment by whoever closed it at the bottom

If you want to know why something got Moderated you can send a private message to one of the Forum Moderators. You can find all the teams listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer in a day or two you can add more moderators to the original message instead of sending a new one (that keeps the date of the message and doesn’t make it look like a completely new request).

Can’t wait for this one to get closed 👍

wait you can do that?

Add more users to the same message? Yes, there is an “Add or Remove…” button at the bottom of the first message sent in a private message, if you press that then the " + " sign that appears you can search for and add more users to the conversation.

huh ok then, I didnt realize that

If you go to your closed topics (both in general about shorter grind) you will see the reason…on top:
Please use already crated thread to discuss RP gain.

You may have presented a new idea, but you used a topic about a common issue that was discussed before…(if not new it may get closed anyway)
You either focus a new topic on the new idea…or present it on already active topic…it will bump the discussion anyway…
