A fuse passing through a bush doesn’t hit one leaf but all leaves on the way through - in rapid succession. As you can’t see through most bushes, this could be more like a stack of 5 leaves or more.
Same for grass.
If we talk about game mechanics then it should be playable and understanable in first time and “realistic” in second. I wonder why noone cares about remote controling MGs (without man holding and controlling them manually) for tanks which not have this feature. For example M18 (Hellcat) have very good model where crew member actually control MG, or M44. But most tanks have ghost crew member which fire from MG mounted on top of the tank being inside the tank (and this is not modern tank) I wonder when Gaijin will fix it and add animation, when crew member which can shoot from top mounted MG will open tank turret hatch and take MG control directly by holding it.
