Why the Do 335 A-1/A-0 and Do 335 B-2 is not fast very slow in my experiences using them !

Do 335 A-1/A-0 at 4.3+ and other planes at same br are faster how?
is the issue with flight model ?
is the issue the outdated / old model of the Do 335?
engine overheat so fast / take long time to get to speed and climb slow !
I think it had to do that the record was beaten at high altitude + it’s faster Top speed, not acceleration.
Do-335 is fat, because it was meant to be a “schnellbomber”, aka fast bomber.
But since german leadership started to put more priority on the bomber raids, it was quickly swapped for a more anti-bomber duty.
I think it was like that, but yeah, speed record beaten at altitudes where WT doesn’t see much action and only superior top speed, not acceleration.

It takes ages to accelerate and loses speed very quickly in any maneuver. So it will naturally feel slow.
As already said. Statcard values dont really matter. Ingame responisiveness, acceleration and energy retention also matter and even overshadow pure top speed stats. Some planes simply lose almost no speed/energy while turning.
The overheating is like Gaijin trusted the romur, which made one of the test planes crash
