Hello all,
I have a quick question for you and was hoping that I could get some insight from veteran players of War Thunder, because I can’t seem to get anyone from the moderation team to look at my messages, let alone respond to them.
Long story short, I had heard from someone in-game that you can get better matchmaking by buying golden eagles and spending them in game. I initially thought he was being facetious but I figured I would at least ask in global chat, because what’s the harm in that? I simply asked “Do I get better matchmaking if I buy Golden Eagles?” and immediately got a 30 day chat ban without any warnings or explanations. I’ve submitted a support ticket (picture included) and was directed to a forum post that basically said to pm Game Masters to see if this chat ban could be reviewed. However it has been nearly over a week since I had reached out, but still just crickets on their end.
So my question to you guys is, what rules of the ToS did I break? I honestly have no idea what I did wrong and why the punishment was so severe for asking a question that I had heard from a different player? I’ve included a picture of the interaction as well to provide everyone with some context.
Please keep in mind, this is the only thing I had said all day. So it wasn’t even like a Moderator had asked me to stop asking that question or anything. Just a simple question subsequently followed by a over reaction from a moderator (in my own personal opinion). The comment on the chat ban is “Abuse” which does not make any sense to me? Any and all insight is welcomed. Thank you everyone.
