Hey I’m wondering why you can’t access the War Thunder store on PS or Xbox our the Gaijin store the only thing I’m able to buy is GE. Can anyone help me under stand why?

You cannot access the gaijin store for xbox or ps accounts because I believe xbox and ps dont allow 3rd party storefronts for games on their console,
And dont listen to the guy above the f5c is just as good and far more fun

Bc Sony and Microsoft restrict that and Gaijin is to weak, to change that.
I hope this changes in a similar way, Apple had to allow 3rd party app stores

And the F4S and F5C are just different Metas.
One for dogfighting and IR missiles, the other for BVR combat
Its fun and pretty good but it isnt noob freindly
If he want to grind the us the f4s is better more so if hes new at the game
F5C is miles ahead of the F4S for grinding man.
F4S Rn gets its teeth kicked in from almsot everythingabove it xD
Everything get kicked from above cuz compression
But having pretty good amout of good missiles is very nice and dont forget the hmd
The avionics are good too and the fp isnt that bad
Another thing is u can bomb bases in the f4s
the F5C is far more forgiving to newer players than the F4S is, The F4S is better for just flat out grinding, however the F5C is better for actively learning and becoming better
not just bombing bases.
The HMD on the F4S is ass man, same as the HMD on the F4J, its actually one of the reasons I stopped with the F4J, that and i was playing it when mig29 just dropped.
the F4S is a worse overall platform to learn to use, its avionics are good for a phantom due to the agile eagle, but it is still a phantom which is the issue.
The FM for it is pretty brickish especially if the person is new to the game.
also the F5C isn’t in a bad spot at all with compression RN. All the dude has to do is watch a couple videos on how to maintain speed, and hwo to read the RWR and hell be fine.
The F4S you’re up against substantially more deadly platforms E.G gen 4 platforms in a gen 3.

Imo f4s is better for learning the game its force the player to leran how to use radar and missiles
How to bvr, notch ir flare irccm missiles
Thos skills are way more important in top tier then just dogfight
Also new player will struggle with f5c
Starting dogfights against experianced players is a not very good idea its better to learn it in low ranks

But they usually don’t thats the problem they run bases and call it a day.
Most folks should learn that progressively, not jumping into a BR bracket with stuff at 13.0 like the F15 bearing down on you.
No one is saying just dogfighting, the F5 teaches one of the most important factors, even at top tier, energy management, if you go ham ,you lose all your energy and are a horrible plane.
To be able to maintain energy is essentail in top tier play

Not everyone that depends on the player
The is the earliest br with irccm missiles(exept attckers like a10c)
The radar is very simple to learn compare to a new player that jump to top tier fox 3 meta and dont know what is tws or angle gating
Yea but thats is diffrent in every plane and u can learn it in the f4s too
Its kinda ez to keep ur energy in a f5 so in that regard it doesnt teach alot
And also u can learn this very well on props
Most ppl who buy premium wants to grind top tier so i think the f4 is better to learn and grind faster

The Radar is not that simple, when you need to switch modes for the HMD as well, most folks dont even know how to lock and launch a missile in its correct WEZ
I will not debate that at all man F4S will get him through the tree faster.
You can also bleed it a lot in the F5C though if used wrongly.
Both planes have their merits I personally believe the 10.0 -11.0 planes are the best for learnign as the planes above them aren’t too imposing but are still a challange.
TBH the gmae needs a good bit of decompression…
