I can write a list of a 100 things wrong with the game that I worry about, however this is an existing feature that they actively have to remove from the game, so not doing anything would actually have mad the game better so I don’t understand why they spend time to make the game worse.

I can only imagine they have different people in different places assembling the game and they never meet each other.They also have very bad leadership and despite claiming to have some kind of road map actually have no direction at all.
It is surprising historically how many companies went bankrupt because they totally lost contact with their customers requirements.
People imagine WT will live forever but I remember a time when it was inconceivable that the UK would never have a car industry or that Rolls Royce or Land Rover would be owned by foreigners but it happend. I’m kind of in the throes of leaving myself,I’m not stomping off in a much lamented huff, just not playing much.
Bored of the crap map management and the repetition.
Too many changes,none of them good.I had a quick couple of games tonight ,first time in a while and that was it.Its all the game is worth now really.Happy to let it die, given up trying to hope for any more.Long since stopped spending. Another mug roped in I guess : )

I assume that’s how we ended up with vehicle nerfs + BR increases + repair cost increases all at the same time, just different departments completely detached from each other just balancing spreadsheets, the R2Y2 losing it’s airspawn whilst also go up in BR and in repaircost if I recall was the most insane shit I’ve seen happen in this game.
Or they only have like 10 people working on the game considering the absolute snail pace at which they develop anything, took them over a year to come up with some absolute garbage as the RP compensation and it’s still atrocious… but that was a mechanic that should have been knocked out in a few weeks at most.
It’s a game that doesn’t remotely deserve the success it has had based on how it’s been mistreated, but a lack of competition will do that I guess.
But doing nothing is one thing, taking forever to do something another, but actively spending time and effort to remove content is beyond me… a feature everyone liked, everyone enjoys, one that opens up the idea of making the hangar more interactive, being able to get into your vehicles in the hangar and using the shooting range or whatever… but nah, lets remove it.
Reminds me of the tank biathlon event we had, having a parkour to go over, obstacles… a shooting range with targets that popped up, would have been great for a test drive, but nah, lets never use that again!
At least I was able to use the skin I got from it many years later…

I think the game was good but it’s easy to ruin a game every quickly.Look how many big franchises get one star reviews now ? COD? UFC? Totally lost the game and the audience.
They ruined the eras with out of time rubbish ,they ruined the concept of nationality and individuality with Copy paste and destroyed all their good maps with red lines and time outs.
It only took the addition of 3 or 4 vehicles to totally ruin 6BR for example that and the stupid map reworks and its goodbye from me.
Mostly are these events to test new mechanics or gameplays.
For example:
Ships event 2016 and 2017 modern tanks/helicopters
Sailing fleet
Rank IX
But the results came years later into the game
both released into the game 2018.

I agree,I think we are all sitting on a dead game in many ways now.Yes it may have the facade of having players but how many? I mean I am having some serious wait times now in some BRs at certain times of day when I never used to. If Gaijin are making millions they sure are not investing back into War Thunder.The trinkets are there for the kids but the infrastructure sucks.The maps are as lame as anything.Some elements of this game are pure turn of the century.
Having a laugh at the catastrophizers here… Pretty typical though.

Two nice features that should be introduced permanently:

Replaying any April Fools Event together with others.
They already have a tab on the side with special events, feel like you could easily throw up an April fools event there to replay every weekend.

Yeah, definitely haven’t been here for a decade, i wouldn’t know.
You know what you think, but you don’t know about the coding or development other than what you’ve been told.
Nothing to do with how long you’ve been here and what you’ve thought you’ve seen.
I see first hand the outcome of whatever coding and development they do, or the lack of outcome.
Because it needs special conditions in hangar. That’s why it was available only in Halloween hangar. But as we mentioned few times in different comments, we also like this option and devs are trying to find the way to implement it. Dunno if it will be possible, but yes, it’s cool and we want it too :)

What does that mean though, special conditions? The system exists, it seems fully functional, I don’t know if I understand why that cannot get enabled again.
I’m guessing that what he means is that they do something very specific to the hangar, when we’re able to use the feature. Something that for some reason doesn’t just easily port into the usual version(s) of the hangar.
I mean can’t you just use that version of the hangar minus the decorations then? That is the only real difference from the regular version.
I assume that if it was that simple, they would simply just have done that already.
Other than that, development resources aren’t infinite and things have to be prioritized. So, if they’ve stated that they want to do it, I can only imagine that whatever it takes to do so, is more than what they’ve been able to justify putting time into right now.
