Why Canada Should Be a U.S. Sub-tree in War Thunder

That’s not a good idea, primarily because that splits the lineups available to play in a match. It becomes impossible to play proper a Canadian lineup if half the vehicles are in one tree, and another half in another.

And adding the same vehicles to both trees is just silly.

Hello

We have no plans for Canadia to be a sub tree of the US. Canadian vehicles can go to whatever nation in game they are most needed in or in specific cases, where that individual vehicle fills a gap or need.

Canadian vehciles will not just be limited to the US tree.

at this point just turn the country in to North American Union. Canada, USA and Mexico.

Canada is a commonwealth realm, along side Australia, and New Zealand. It has every reason to go to the UK tech tree but as smin as said a billion times (you should definitley say it again smin ;)) is that they sadly (and wrongfully) will go to whatever nation needs the vehicles to fill in gaps

No, Canada has vehicles in Britain and Germany. Take a look at this

Britain has the same RAM II and Skink you’ve mentioned so from the start that lack reason.

Britain = 7
US = 4
Germany = 2

Preach.

The 2A4M and ADATS fighting one another at top tier is already insulting.

Canada (and Australia & NZ as you say) being treated as a designated gap-filler for any nation that needs it is a practice I wish would end. We belong in the UK tree and I’ll die on that hill.

exactly. our governments see the crown as king (they dont control our government in anyway shape or form, its kind of a formality of sorts) so there is literally 0 reason to not put our countries there.
India, South Africa and many many many other african nations however dont see the crown as their king and are far more seperated from the UK

Commonwealth is not a military alliance. Okay, maybe only when Aussies dunk on every other Commonwealth nation in the swimming during the Commonwealth games.

As an Aussie, I personally like seeing Aussie stuff split across US and Brit trees. If anything, I’d have made the ‘Pig’ (F-111C) go to the US tree, instead. So that it’s early Aussie vehicles in British tree, and then later vehicles in the US tree, which is more reflective of our shift to USA as our closest military ally and weapons source.

I understand, and of course I can only speak for myself as a Canadian and my opinion for Canada’s place in the game and won’t pretend to speak for others.

I’d understand wanting the F-111 and AIM in the same place. Would you enjoy seeing an Aussie Boxer in the German tree?

Yeah, US Mains would have a panic attack if they had to use most nations MBTs

Not Commonwealth of nations… A realm of the Commonwealth. Different things.

Yeah, pretty much. If Australia isn’t getting its own tree, I’d like the more modern vehicles to go to the nation of origin - so mostly USA, few things in German tree, older jets in French tree and so on. But obviously, they’re using our nations to try plug gaps in others trees, so it won’t go that way.

So why are all the british vehicles not getting their country of origin?

the hunter F58 was added 2 years before the swiss tree was announced xD

Probably for the better. They’ve butchered the Hunters so badly in the British tree, lol. F.6 still at 9.7.

That doesn’t answer the question at all and is a pathetic response at best.

tell me why we dont get the best versions of our own equipment?

yet you can say nations which are closely related and are commonwealth realms equipment (most of which is in the british tree) cant go to britain.

same as canada, ive yet to meet a canadian who likes their kit being in the US tree unless absolutely necessary

As an Aussie I completely disagree and your the first Aussie I’ve ever heard say this. You 100% entitled to say and feel however you want, not taking that from you or begrudgingly just it doesn’t match anything I’ve heard.
