Not trying to claim its modeled wrong or anything, just genuinely curious why a plane that is built like a tank has wings that rip at around mach 0.8. I know its not designed to go fast, but what about its construction make the wings weaker than supersonic planes?
Itβs wings are hardly swept and are built to carry loads and take damage, not fly at high speeds.

wing sweep is part of it and the loading of the wings with all the hardpoints and fuel tanks etc, they simply arent built for the way high speed stresses them

They are meant to carry large loads, so they have strength against vertical forces. Speed stressed the wings in the drag/horizontal axis.
Due to the low sweep angle of the wing, stresses accumulate much faster than on a supersonic wing design, meaning they rip at lower speeds.
