Pantsir has 2 engine, just like fakour 90, it has booster burn then sustain burn plus the 95ya6 is tiny
They do change stuff, just not the right stuff kike adding rtx and dlss support but i cant look into a pack of trees without dipping to 17fps
unlucky
Pantsir missiles have one engine, what you see two parts, it is one design, they will not undress during the flight. By the way, Pantsir missiles have an engine that works for only 3 seconds, which is three times less than the AIM-120C5
The aim120 isnalso twice as heavy and on a much larger caliber, so it would need more thrust and drag coefficent to beat the smaller lighter missile, also burn time doesnt beat total thrust, i cant find the stats but i imagine that sonce the 95ya6 is a ground launched missile, its made to accelerate without initial aircraft boost, while the aim120 is an air derived missile
That is none sense. Pantsir does have two engines, and they do undress during the flight, so essentially it is only the head that gets to the target.
Spoiler
“The missile has a bicalibre body, consisting of two stages in a tandem configuration. The first stage is a booster, providing rapid acceleration within the first 2 seconds of flight, after which it is separated from the sustainer-stage.”
Thus why in wiki it is said to be 90mm rocket.
Excellent, we are waiting for your photo of the separation of steps in the 57E6.
They lose speed quickly so that SU30 and SU34 have time to escape
Coz the devs are full of bias
Because by this logic every single missile in the game is underperforming by 2-4x. When manufactures list ranges they obviously want to make it look impressive. I’m sure these missiles can hit a 747 at 40km.
R60m states 8km range, go ahead sling one from 8km and see what happens.
Aim120 states 60km, again throw them at 60km and see what happens.
etc. etc.
Turns out when missiles run out of booster they start rapidly slowing down, especially if they have to course correct against a target not flying in a straight line, crazy stuff.
I get the frustration that these new spaa are basically not the wunderwaffe people hoped for, but its not because the missiles are being artificially nerfed.
Also pantsir effective range is about the same, you aren’t hitting anyone beyond 8km going over mach 1 and not flying in a straight line without some seriously skilled leading and luck. People getting sniped out of the air spawn are literal morons that have no idea how to fly CAS at top tier.
Spoiler
Im not even a fraction good as this guy, but I do play the pantsir and when you run into CAS players like this you might as well just hide or J out, its gonna be the same thing in the new SPAA. I don’t think anything short of patriots and s400 is going to stop CAS from stomping at 12.3+ matches.
I have a feeling that you haven’t watched the video that is indicated in my post. Watch it and you will see that the Pantsir missile flies according to completely different laws of physics. It does not lose speed at all. As for the Pantsir missile being shot down at 8 km, this is a lie, the Pantsir missile has shot me down at 18 km when I was flying to the side.
It’s because 1. It’s smaller 2. sustainer is almost always on through to nearly 12km in game, 3.It’s got less drag cause it doesn’t have round tip for IR seeker.
This does not explain why the speed of other rockets drops two or even three times faster.
Its sustainer is on for longer than everyone else, it has a sharp tip and not round IR dome, it is 90mm compared to 180mm of IRIST SLM or even 127 of IRIST. Also as it is faster it takes longer to drop to lower speeds, especially transonic where drag is highest.
The Pantsir missile’s main engine operates for 3.5 seconds, while the AIM-120C5 engine operates for 8 seconds.
Ignoring the hugely long sustainer? The booster gets it to Mach 4, whilst AMRAAM doesn’t. Also the booster is dumped after that, whilst AMRAAM remains a 177 mm missile for its entire duration. Which means it is not optimising weight saving.
Are you making this up yourself or do you have sources for this information somewhere? I searched the entire Internet and nowhere did I find information that the 57E6 missiles have two stages.
The 57E6 missile (Pantsir-S1 SAM system) does not have a second stage in the classical sense (like multi-stage missiles). It is a single-stage missile with a solid-fuel engine that operates for 2.6-3 seconds. They do not separate, it does not have a booster or anything.
IDK if I am allowed to show it but this is what is left of the missile in final stage.
Spoiler
You see much of the back is gone, and the new engine nozzel is exposed.
go check it out, every single missile is in two parts, sustainer or booster.
In game animation.
IDK where you are looking but my entire google page says it does.
Ok, I’m waiting for the link.
IDK about you, but every source I found on 57E6 or 95YA6 says two stage solid fuel rocket. 57E6 Pantsir – Open Source Munitions Portal
