Why Are Critical Ammunition Bugs Treated as Suggestions? And Inconsistent Prioritization in Gaijin's Bug Report System

Your information has been forwarded as a suggestion, if more information is required a Tech Mod will contact you.

Thank you

Why is it only a suggestion? Its a ammunition flaw that has a bad impact on the Vehicle, having 800~ m/s HE as velocity on a L/70 Bofors gun, and putting it at 7.7 and expecting people to be able to target jets flying at about 1050~ km/h while avoiding your targetting by simply outspeeding your rounds etc. Sure 2880 km/h sounds good but thats the speed it has leaving the barrel, vs 3618 km/h of the 40mm L/70 Makes quite the difference, I find instead of mentioning the m/s people assume eh, doesent sound that much more different, vs if i tell them km/h, then the is often a bigger understanding of, “wow thats quite abit slower…”

Sammanfattning

I have proven that the VEAK 40 could use standard L/70 ammunition like the Italian Leopard 40/70 uses or the French AMX-13 DCA 40.

And i have enough evidence suggestion that the Lvkv 42 atleast used the 1000 m/s~ L/70 HE ammunition. Community Bug Reporting System

Having Bug reports about incorrect ammunition is bad enough, but lord. I feel like there should be atleast some urgency in changing Bad ammunition to better ammunition especially SPAA that are tasked with quickly defending their team from air threats.

The highest urgency they get is being forwarded as a suggestion among the million others of New ammunition suggestions for vehicles that do fine with the current ammunition.

So i ask, why does incorrect ammunition not get the same importance as usual bug reports? They both make the game less enjoyable for the player. And even in some cases make the vehicle perform much worse. So again shouldnt incorrect ammunition get the same amount of attention as regular lets sayyy incorrect Vehicle models / errors They both equally punish the enjoyability of the vehicle, one being the potential damage output, the other damage recieved.

Now i have made a experiment a while back now, where ive suggested drop-tanks and other armaments for the J29s & A29s (Swe) and to my suprise very shortly after my suggestion was uploaded, barely a month after it was forwarded to the devs, and the devs added the Ground attack ordinance that the J29F could carry next update. At the same time i had to struggle hard to even get a mod to see the error post on the Lvkan 48 having its incorrect ammunition on the Issue report site, then acknowledge it. And despite being able to argue that its a bigger error and hinders gameplay much more than the J29F missing ground attack armament, the Forum suggestion was implemented almost instantly, Now i have no idea if this is a straight up fluke.

But i find it funny how another suggestion went, That being reporting Pbv 302 BILL 20mm sound To be incorrect assuming probably wont get fixed but eh, open to check if any updates on the Lvkan 48, and the 20mm akan sound was It was fixed last update.

Ehh!?? So your telling me its easier to remake a sound and change all that, vs changing the Lvkan 48s ammunition to simply Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V, the already correct ammunition property of the Leopard 40/70s Standard Bofors L/70 lvakan 48 ground mount, licence made by Breda for italy. With Bofors L/70 ammunition. I mean props to the sound department but still huh??

So i bet im not the only one with this kind of experience, anybody else?

That’s not a bug, nor is it critical. It’s a historical report…
Average jet speed at 7.7 is also 800kph, not 1050.

Oh im sorry im thinking about the J29A and mig-15s and sabres. Those aircraft from what ive seen has around 1000 km/h at max, so thats what i took information from, lol

Also im sure we could argue for hours about ammunition reports being critical or not, but id like to skip that and say, you have a different opinion then mine about what is a critical report and why. So ima just let that argument die before it starts since ive seen from other people arguing with you and discussing has not gone too well.

And okay if its a historical report why not title it as one and say that on the issue site rather than saying it has been forwarded as a suggestion, making it look like its equal to a vehicle or etc, suggestion.

That was my only complaint about your post.
I have no other issues as I understand the anger when something you want really badly doesn’t occur.

Correct, and ive been sitting for more than a year trying to get the accurate ammunition for the lvkan 48 correct, since a exit velocity of 800 m/s already of the lvkv 42 starts to push the limit for effectiveness against air targets.

And with the recent historical removal of the HE-VT from the veak 40 being its only promotion since the velocity isnt as critical when you can just get close. To now noticing having that exit velocity at 7.7-8.0 showing the glaring flaw in the vehicle since it doesent matter that the radar tracks your target when you cant properly intercept any aircraft.

And now with the Zsu-23-4m2 possibly being 7.7 if it doesent get increased, it will likely even without a radar outmatch the VEAK 40. I doubt the shilka m2 will actually be 7.7 ingame instead 8.3 maybe.

Nevertheless having the only good SPAA choices be the U-sh 204 gk, then the Leopard 2 marksman. Untill you have access to the lvkv 9040 or lvrbv 70.

In my opinion it shows how poor of SPAAs both the Lvkv 42 and veak 40 are at the moment. And i can in large part relate that to the less than adequate velocity and damage that the lvkan 48 puts out currently.

Since the L/70 HE filler is greater than the L/60, due to the- eh you get it.
