Free stuff is free stuff, even though is not exactly free but it’s something. I’d love to see something else other than, in gameplay terms, a copy and paste of an previous vehicle already in-game. I’ll research it but I’m not expecting it to bring any good experience. In technical terms being a worse T-72B3A, the battle rating is what interests me the most.
Nah not happening. Most likely 12.0 demo version t72b3a so ppl can try it and throw in recycle bin. Just like entire t90m line.
T80um2 with 6s reload, -10 kph reverse and aps exists btw. At 11.7.

Hell nah. After mid things like EFV, R400 and Boxer CRV i expected something unique like M1 Thrumper or Pz 87 140. This is just straight up sh*t. Literally worse copy of T-72B3A, what’s cool in that? Also this tank was in game files since “Leviathans” update and was in the same folder with T-72B3A. Laziness of Gaijin is crazy not gonna lie. If they really wanted to add high tier russian MBT why not Burlak, T-72BM2 or T-80UM1? I’m sorry but this is spitting on players faces. 45k is not problem for me but this copy its just not worth it man. I hope another event tank will be somehow better but i think its gonna be the same case…

I’m honestly shocked that people are gonna grind 45 k points every 2 days for a worse version of a tank that’s in the TT. If it was like 20,000 a day, than yeah! I would absolutely grind it but 45 k is far too much! I say they use their brains and rethink it and then drop the amount of points we have to get.

Yeah, I don’t understand it either. The only thing that would save this tank is a rather low BR, like 11.0, but since the tree T-72B3A is at 12.3 and the event T-80UM2 with Drozd is at 11.7… Yeah, it will probably be at 11.7. Unfortunately, for most players (for those without top tier) it is still a free high BR tank, so they will make it anyway, and some would probably sell it for a staggering 20 gjn. 45k for such a vehicle is nonsense. If I had a Burlak / Obj. 640 / or the legendary Obj. 770, I’d gladly do stars even for 50k, but for such crap? Nah.

Next up is 100k for a Panzer II with track armor that you can only grind with Rank V or above vehicles (I hate the Rank III+ requirement)

Yup. I’m a little afraid that if Gaijin sees that they’re going to give such a copy-paste vehicle to the event and players keep grinding it, they’ll keep doing it and the next event vehicles will be things like the Leopard 2A4 with two 12.7 mm machine guns or something like that. I hope the next event will be a cool tank for 7.7+. The PLZ83-130 and FIROS weren’t anything special, but looking at that T-72, I have some concerns that the gaijin will spit on us again and give us another copy paste.
I mean 45k per 2 days is only like 2-4 hours in those said 2 days (depending on how I play), so it isn’t hard for everyone.
However if this thing will be worth any time/effort will fully depend on it’s BR.
I mean if you expected that thing as an event vehicle currently, you were always going to be disappointed.

I would genuinely consider it if I weren’t focusing on university work. 35k? Maybe. 40k? Pushing it but I might after a test. 45k sounds like torture to do outside of holidays.
Shame a vehicle that could’ve easily been a squadron, premium or tech tree folder becomes unobtanium. Really wish we had more events like the T-34-85 partisan where it’s an identical vehicle but with premium bonuses.
I agree, I’m doing this 45k stars sometimes even in 2h if I have a luck but common. This tank is not worth it even if this 45k is not that much for average tankers.

Yeah maybe I expected too much. I just wanted something to match the Obj. 292 ,it was the best event ground vehicle since the removal of crafting events.

If it was 45k at any rank than I’d be fine with that, but Rank III+ is honestly where I start to hate the grind.
i tried something like that, farming at low-ish br in air rb with the il-8
i also did a lot of basically kamikaze airfield bombing in sim with the tu-14, tu-4 and a little bit yak-28
all of it was very slow, im not sure which was best, it took like 4 or 7 hours each stage. there were some times a bug appeared where the bombs would do no base damage and that was horrible
apparently the chinese tu-4 has firebombs with like double the base damage over the best the soviet one has so if u went down the chinese air tree u can grind pretty fast
You want to go even lower, that’s honestly too high already for “low tier” farming. At that point you’re better off going to top tier. Try and get a kill or two and move on to the next game.
I think there’s a higher chance of it being 11.7 or even 12.0 than it being 10.7 on release.

thats typically how matches went actually. almost every match there would be a bunch of noobs that would swarm at me and id usually kill 2 of them in headons until the 3rd one would get me after i lost all my energy from turning
Yeah, but at low tier it’s way less efficient. Because at top tier the bonuses stack up.
