Which Rank IV-V is best?

I am looking for one in the USSR, German, American, or Swedish ground tree. I do have access to the marketplace but I’d like it to be under $50.

TO-55 and T29 look like viable candidates

This isnt like “I must be a consumer and buy something right now or I’ll die 😱,” more like noodling for the future.

I understand things like:

  • buy off market when the SL crate with it inside show up
  • wait till sales to buy GE, premium account/vehixkes

The T-55AM-1 is pretty solid, has a good line up (except for CAS) and as not many nations have solid 10.0 line ups so the MM is decent too.

Don’t worry! I am not going by rank - more by price and my ability to not throw myself into the incinerator. 10.0 is nice, but I couldn’t tell the difference between an abrams and a leo2a4 unless I stare at it for 5 seconds to make sure. I just assume my skill caps out at rank V rn

For US the T29 I dont have it but Ive seen ppl get nukes in it very often when Im playing 7.0 US
Or for Germany the Turm 3 great speed great cannon and the 30mm to shred light vehicles.

Abrams: Faster, weaker round, worst armour, and Faster reload.

Leopard 2A4: Slower top speed, better round, slower reload by 1 sec aced, better armour, and worst depression angels.

Also in the four rounds since I bought the Turm 3 I got close to a nuke lol.

Im at a hotel so my KD sucks but 1 game I got 5 kills 6 assist 2 caps and 1 death.

The flavour of the month right now is the T58 in the USA tree. It’s rapid 2.6s autoloader and strong volumetric turret has been the source of a lot of griping and complaining from many players. T29 is basically hot garbage, or mid (as the kids say) in comparison.

How is T29 bad? It has good armor and a 105mm right

if it genuinely is “hot garbage” I’ll buy something else

Ye, but Somua is much more pleasant experience than any other rank IV-V ive playd, trust me on this one.

Anyway

For US, friend recently got T54E1and he likes it a lot.

T58, it should be included in the next sales once they come around; assuming it doesnt get changed by then.

Germany really doesnt have rank IV-V premium powerhouse.

From my time playing it in US TT, M47 is great tank but I wouldnt get the premium version unless it was like at 80% sale.

Another friend swears by CLOVIS, you get LRF + autloader HEAT slinger at 8.0.

TURM III obviously.

For USSR, im personally waiting for opportunity to grab Obj 140. Seems like nifty tank, but thats at higher rank than youre looking for.
