no, you dont play the is6 so you should not recommend something that you dont even play.
in the other hand i play the t34 partisan and i do good on it thats why i suggest it
None. None of them are great, I will prefer you to buy a top-tier premium. Best if you don’t even buy one at all. A premium account is good enough.
T80-UD 1,000% Absolutely hands down better than the TURMS T. The only “negative” is that the UD doesnt have thermals, but if you are already used to RB without thermals, you probably wont care too much.

You have the XM1 (GM) correct? That’s already BR 9.3 in Realistic. You should get the T-55AM-1 if you want a “higher” BR RU vehicle. It is still one of the absolute best premium MBT’s in the game, for it’s BR. Plethora of ammo to choose from, fairly good cheek armor (turn your turret to the side while reloading so they hit the composites instead of your gun/breech.)
It is also at a more reasonable price that the T-80UD or T-80U-E1
And since the T-55AM-1 is Rank 6, you will be able to grind out ~95% of the RU ground tree with that tank alone. Only 5 tanks in Rank 8 that will not grind at max efficiency. Effectively irrelevant.
You hardly get any extra RP % with the T-80UD vs the T-55AM-1. And you will have a more enjoyable grind imo with the T-55AM-1 versus throwing yourself into near top tier with the T-80UD. The jump from ~9.0 to 10.3 is massive.

Personally I keep that 9.0 little problematic, sine if you want to get good AA and light , it will be on 9.3 , and facing lot of 10.3 games, and that t55 is not so good when facing “bit” more heavy things.
People have suggested partisan , it would be solid and pretty nice BR, but instead of partisan , I would go for MAY 45 pack. it is 35 bucks, and you would get that t34-85 , is1 and Hanomag AA, what is quite different from tech tree, since instead 4x14.5mm you get 3x20mm cannons, and it got lot of ammo also. So you would get 3 prems instead 1, and having “full” ground lineup in there, so grind and sl income would be lot more effective compared to only partisan.
Why not T-34-100? Looks sweet imo and unique. Asking because I was about to buy it last sales. Comes with good lineup too
Go for the IS-6 if you like the Tiger, think of it like a faster Jagdtiger, dont listen to the muppets saying go for the T-34-85s they suck doo doo

Well I mean its how I got up to 7.7 Russia and yes its truly amazing, but the T-34-85 is still trash, theres a difference between a good player and a good tank

APFSDS is less of an issue than HEAT is, HEAT will terrorise you, but this can be gotten around by learning not to walk out in front of HEAT slingers. Its a rank V, will allow you to grind more of the tree and with the T-34-85 “Partisan” being 19.46 Gjn at the time of writing this, is only $6 NZD ish more expensive on 50% off sales. Its just straight up a better purchase imo

how much power creep happened to the 2s38? from what i remember it was insanely broken
its being nerfed and up br to 10.7. still good but no armor at all.
its a good thing to buy for all in one to grind. same as bmpt.

by that time, with the t34-85, you would have grinded and finish the tech tree. while still being cheaper
2S38 is good, excellent gunner and commander thermals. Crewless turret, IRST with good prox shells. It is one of the best tanks to knock out recon drones. APHE shells that work well against BMPTs. Also has Dozer Blade for digging trenches (though pretty situational usefulness.)
It is my most used tank. HOWEVER, I LOVE light tanks. It MUST be played as a light tank. If you run in face first you WILL be obliterated. If you don’t enjoy light tanks do not get it for your first high BR premium. Get the T-80UD instead.
It does pair very well with the T-80UD if you eventually want both. And the T-72AV (TURMS-T), but again, the T-80UD is better than the TURMS-T.

WELL, the TAM’s are super tanky, for “light” tanks, lol. They are quite strong, especial the TAM 2IP. The 2S38 is NOT tanky. Even though a lot of people still complain about it, it is fairly fragile, especially if played carelessly.
So it’s a sweat light tank
