Which nation has the best jets?

US, Israel, and Russia

Su-27SM has around 21deg/s sustained turn rate. At high speeds (+850kph IAS) by abusing trim controls, it can achieve about 22.5deg/s. At full instructor pull it goes about 17.5-18deg/s. At 500kph IAS 19deg/s.

The F-15E at 500kph IAS does about 18deg/s which is substantially worse, but it actually matches all higher speeds sustained turn rates from the su-27 almost identically.

Gripen crushes both easily because even when played like a retard, it has 19deg/s at just 380kph IAS which is what you get with full max instructor sustained turn.
At 500kph IAS it goes to 20.5deg/s.
At 750kph IAS, 22deg/s which is achievable without trim tricks, it’s a far cry from the 24deg/s it had not long ago, but still very strong and currently still has the best energy retention among ALL top tiers. (At dogfighting speeds)

This above is not aimed at changing AlvisWisla’s opinion, just a counter-misinformation for you guys.

@HighRiskNoReward
Well yeah, your entire post is literally agreeing with mine.

Yes there is. Every chance they get now they add better versions of our top jets to other trees.

F-15JM vs F-15C
F-15E vs F-15I
Israeli vs American A-4’s

Israel and Japan to a lesser degree have objectively better top tier air than US. I wouldn’t be saying anything about this if they gave US F-15 the BOL pods (we used them) but they haven’t when it would put them on more level playing field with Japan and Israeli F-15

Then there is Rafale which is on its own level, and eft which is already pretty good from what I’ve heard and will be even better when it’s radar is fixed in reliability
