So basically, I’m still deciding which nation i should grind for ground battles. I want a nation that is easy on me and has decent top tier for ground.
(And also, I do not want stupid teammates, and I’m fine with little to no CAS)
That’s quite complex requirements, but the best that will fit as an answer is: Germany; though you won’t have the best of teammates but the tech tree in general is good top to bottom;
Close air support is present but not exactly the best you can find when compared to USA. If you want some quick research, I mean, short time researching the tech tree go for Japan or Israel, both fit decently this requirement but Israel shares better close air support capabilities.

I just learn’t that shermans are worser than panzers, panthers and t-34s, so is it easier to grind other nations through mid tier? or should i just get better with shermans as the abrams are good?

Then go to France, although, according to the Community, research is tougher but the teammates are one of the best, but this is a thing you can’t evade, you’re not playing a match where is only France versus Germany to take advantage of such characteristic on these two tech trees playerbase.
So I only get good teammates, or good tanks

I forgot to mention Sweden, is a strong option, the teammates for Sweden specifically is somewhat on par with Germany’s, perhaps better, I’m not sure, their main top tier tank is, if I’m not wrong the best in-game (Strv 122B+) in terms of armor and the second best overall (behind Germany’s Leopard 2A7V),
In summary Sweden is a shortened Germany tech tree with some very powerful vehicles across most battle rating they’re placed (e.g., Strv m/31, Pbv 501, ItPSv-90 and Strv 122B+ as mentioned earlier) though most of the time you’ll be playing alongside with Germany.
It’s important to mention that the quality of teammates throughout the nations also varies at BR. For example, German players at mid-tier are commonly acknowledged to be terrible, but they are the best out of the Big 3 nations at top tier. This is the opposite for US teammates.
If you want a good mix of vehicle and teammate performance, Sweden is a good option, with a strong top tier. I personally would recommend China; it has a mix of US and Soviet vehicles at lower tiers, unique top tier, and good teammates. Its top tier is average, but has good potential.
I think you should not put too much emphasis on absolute top tier, as good vehicles throughout the tree are more important. Also, the meta nations at top tier can and will change; it is an unsaid strategy of Gaijin to increase profits through encouraging purchases of top tier premiums of multiple trees.
Sweden will be nice those Leopard with extra armors.

I would say France. Not that many vehicles. And apart from reserve the vehicles are great. 8.7 suffers a bit because you have to adapt playstyle since you have no stabilisers. Teammates are great throughout. Vehicles above 5.0 are just straight fire. If you like light tanks and doing flanks France is GOAT.
speaking that I stop to fire and I like flanking (armour is too strong in front), it should suit me. If the top tier tanks are good (I’ll appreciate it if someone confirms that), then I’ll just go play France. (and grind their air tree)
The leclercs are fine. YOu also get teh dutch leopards if the leclercs don’t suit you but you have 6 12.0 MBTs so you’re good
and one more question, which country’s top tier is better, France or Sweden, and whose playerbase is better?
