~5.0-~6.7 are very popular BRs filled with very popular and well known vehicles, and are also right sort of at the late WW2 era. So its a very popular range for longtime players who enjoy WW2 but dont really enjoy higher tier stuff.
So as a new player you definitely will find a lot of highly skilled players with a lot of gametime spent in these ranges that know all the best spots and all the little intricacies of all the vehicles. I admit that I am one of those players, I as prefer WW2 myself and that BR range has my highest percentage of gameplay as well.
But in my opinion the game gets harder the higher you get. It may feel easier on the face because moving, finding enemies, and shooting with your tank is easier. But the game overall is harder because positioning becomes far more important and it is so much easier for a tiny mistake to be immediately punished. The game becomes much faster paced and you get noticably more twitch shooter styles of gameplay.
Yeah I just have a skill issue
