Devs have rejected numerous bug reports about it for lack of evidence. They literally will not accept classified documents as a source. Chinese state media stated in CGTN and CCTV that J-10C used WS-10B. They stated in the bug Report that…
“ OEM Manuals (primary source): User manuals, repair manuals, factory manuals, operating manuals, technical manuals etc. Single source is required (preferred source).”

Su-30SM2 can have the most powerful version,why J-10C can’t? Despite J-10C haven’t get more powerful missile,if J-10C still can’t change engine from AL-31FN3 to WS-10B,how to show the feature of the J-10C as a top fighter?

What is the difficulty in installing the actual fighter jet engine?
Just give it the J10C’s own engine, which is the WS10B.
There are newer aircraft that are already coming equipped with WS10C, and WS10G with TVC has already been tested on the J10B/C platform.

They just want to give us a water down 14.3 to be food for Rafale and EF specially now that the F15CGE has 12 120C5’s to spam. Sucks how they are treating the J10C not giving it extended range missiles or the correct engine. Worst treatment that what the JAS39E got before it got fully modeled in.

They said they would need to also physically change the model of the J-10C for the WS-10 engines, this can take time.
I wouldn’t mind if they changed it and released an update addressing the physical model after the updates release.
They just change the thrust values for WS10B (at least WS10B has to come), then they create the model and implement it in the game. The 3D model is the least important thing; what matters is the performance.
I really don’t understand Gaijin’s logic. Currently, we have no confirmed sources indicating that the Su-30SM2 already uses the AL-41FS engine and N035 radar. However, it is absolutely confirmed that the J-10C uses the WS-10B engine .
Yet, in the issue tracker, reports requesting the WS-10B are rejected for various reasons.
Is Gaijin planning to introduce a separate Pakistani J-10CE variant that is identical in every way except for the engine? That doesn’t make any sense.

It now looks just like the F-15C GE—a better radar, a minimally improved engine (the F-15C didn’t even change its engine), and an increased number of missiles…

According to the statements from Smin1080p_WT and the other moderators, the 3D model for the WS-10B likely hasn’t been created yet. The only thing found in the previous datamine was the text string “ws10b”. Since the new version is probably being updated this week, I have a feeling Gaijin will push the implementation of the WS-10B for the J-10C to the next major update.

Missing better WS-10B engine is one thing they should really add to this plane but there is another issue I have seen mentioned but not really talked about in such a big number or having its own post here specifically to it.
What about KD-88, IR bombs or other such FnF AGMs for the J-10C?
Did Smin or anyone else say or mention what’s happening with those? Since I’m quite certain the proper additions have already been found in the files with their proper models but remained unseen on the dev server, I will be rather pissed off if the J-10C doesn’t get any FnF AGMs, it’s a top tier jet god damn it, every other nation has some sort of IR AGMs or other long range A2G weaponry in big quantity except China.
Brimstone, AGM-65, Kh-38, various large and numerous small glide bombs, meanwhile china gets mostly laser guided bombs and Kh-29 as the best FnF AGM that has SOME range to it.
I really wanna know if it’s coming anytime soon since at the moment I honestly don’t wanna play the game at all considering how massacred the J-10C is compared to the best it could have been.

The game is quite biased against chinese planes and vehicles for quite a long time (not event began recently but for years), and the riot in chinese community was just a cumulated unsatisfyness from these long-term biases, the planes and vehicles are always developed underperformed compared to what they are in real life
