While the AL-31F is powerful, it is not sufficient for the J-10C, and the latest J-10C actually uses the WS-10B.

If PL15 cannot be given to J10c due to balance, then PL12 a and turbofan 10B should be returned to J10c!
The drag profile of the J-10C is maybe a bigger problem than the engine currently. The T/W ratio is hitting over 1.6 already, the only thing keeping it is the drag. Not to mention that the WS-10B really gives doubt about its reliability and fuel efficiency irl so idk if in game it would be that good of a trade.
The WS-10B increases the bypass ratio by enlarging the outer duct, which raises mass flow and actually lowers specific fuel consumption—though what Gaijin thinks is Gaijin’s business.
It seems Gaijin really dislikes the J-10C; it’s still using the AL-31F, while the Su-30SM2 has already received the AL-41F.
However, the data of Su-30sm2 is like the 7th generation machine.

AL-31F on the J-10C is temporary as the aircraft’s model is not final yet. They’ll add the WS-10 engine and the assets are found in the game already. Give it some time and you’ll get your hands on it (I’m waiting for it as well)

they fixed j11b’s acm box bug using a full major update time, i worry they will do the same.
added to the files as an unused engine text, not used. they can revert it any time they want, besides that where is the CAS on the J-10C if the Gripen and EFT get the Spice? where’s the GB250 IR in the files? where’s the KD-88 in the files? it’s pure ignorance by gaijin ignoring chinese stuff again, not like the previous controversy didn’t damage enough. the WS-10B isn’t the only issue
