The Leopard 2A7V can not be penetrated through its hull plate or its turret cheeks.
The LeClerc can be frontally penetrated through its hull plate by anything found at its BR range and a full 2.0 below. Its turret cheeks have weak spots which can be frontally penetrated by vehicles 1.0 below it.
The Leopard 2A7V sports a 653mm penetrating round.
The Leclerc OFL 120 F1 penetrates a maximum of 575mm.
The Leopard 2A7V has 9 degrees of gun depression.
The LeClerc has 8 degrees of gun depression.
Why exactly are these two tanks the same BR?
