Where is GBU53 and AGM84h

The AGM-84H SLAM-ER, a standoff weapon deployed as early as 2000, still hasn’t made an appearance. And in the game, they won’t even give us something like the GBU-53/B “StormBreaker”—which was tested back in 2008! Meanwhile, even the Kh-38MT, which Russia hasn’t yet confirmed as operational in reality, is already in service in War Thunder. Why aren’t new CAS ordnance being added for the U.S. tech tree? Does Gaijin’s world assume the Soviet Union won the Cold War in 1991, while the United States peacefully dissolved on Christmas day that same year?

Year of introduction has never been something the DEV’s look at. They look at capabilities and try to judge so that relatively similar capable weapons are in the game at similar BR’s.

ARE YOU JOKING!? when everyone was given new weapons, and the US still has six AGM-65Fs. it’s not funny anymore, having the weakest plane 14.3, they don’t give new weapons to counter faster AND MORE MANEUVERABLE planes. This attitude only causes anger.

You say that but dont you think theres a little bias in there? KH38MTs arent real as far as anyone knows yet we have them in game for a year. Whilst the US is still using AGMs from the 80s lol

Cool idea, a 2005 plane fighting with 1999 missiles against a 2020 plane with 2013 missiles

GBU-53 is nearly identical to SPICE250 and even have smaller warhead. Why it is not OK to add?

because the gaijin have been very biased against the usa for the last 3 years

Are you serious?
Are the Kh-38MT and the AGM-65G comparable in performance?
Are the R-77 (RVV-AE) and the AIM-120C5 comparable in performance?
Are the R-27ER and the AIM-7M comparable in performance?
Is there even a single missile in the game that is comparable in performance to the R-27ET?

I have only explained how i believe it currently works. I’ve not said anything on if i think this is done well or not. Please don’t assume my personal opinions about something when i have merely stated subjective things.

he’s right though, age is irrelevant, all that matters is performance, otherwise why is the F-117 at 8.7 and not like 12.0? .

In regard to performance, I agree that many nations are in need of newer and more capable weapons as the only nation to have gotten anything even close to the KH-38 is France with the AASM-Hammer.

The first will likely be ARM within the next 3-6 months and I am surprised AGM-84 havent been added yet.

GBU-53s I beleive they are hesitant of adding larger quantity of FnF weapons on fixed wing and appear ot be taking it slowly, starting with 8x Spice-250 on the F-16I and now with their introduction of the AESA-Phoons and Gripen E (Gripen E of note with 16 of them). So they likely will be added in future, but the same is true of other weapons, such as Brimstone 2

So, what compares to the Kh-38MT as the Brimstones was nerfed into oblivion in terms of compability?

Please read my previous response.

Fair points, but the game is very unbalanced in terms of certain nations.

As an extra answer to this. You cannot look at munitions only, you have to also look at what vehicle carries them (this is not a specific answer to any specific munitions mentioned, just a generalized one)

The exact same munition is going to perform very differently if it’s put on a fast and maneuverable plane compared to a very slow and less agile one.

I don’t know what to say anymore. I’ll ask directly. DOES THE F/A-18E SUPER HORNET HAVE THE SAME CAPABILITIES AS THE SU-30SM 2, RAFAL CF3, EF-2000… IN ANTI-AIR OR ATTACK COMBAT ZONE?

I’ll be as clear as possible here:

I have zero connection to development, i have no contact with the DEV’s, no influence on their decisions and no insight into those operations. At all. Game Masters only handle in-game chat and name bans.

I have personally not played any of those vehicles so i wouldn’t be able to say anything about them. What i can say is that almost every time i see someone complain about a vehicle in the game they have not played it themselves and don’t actually know how it is to play it, only how it feels to face it. It gives a skewed view with only half of the equation to have any real comparative opinion on a vehicle.

Thats fair. Thanks for thr reply

Agm 84 is 3 times slower than Kh38mt so no thanks. Even ir mavs are faster.
Gbu53 looks like spice alternative but thing is f15e can carry 28 of them at once so gaijin wont add this because “too op”.

The advantage of the AGM-84 would be the larger warhead and IOG. They would have been quite good a year ago.
